Pl: Zbliżały się święta Bożego Narodzenia.
En: Christmas was approaching.

Pl: Śnieg pokrywał góry, a w powietrzu unosił się zapach lasu iglastego.
En: Snow covered the mountains, and the scent of pine forest hung in the air.

Pl: Zofia miała przed sobą ważne zadanie.
En: Zofia had an important task ahead of her.

Pl: Musiała dostarczyć cenny artefakt do muzeum w Zakopanem.
En: She had to deliver a precious artifact to a museum in Zakopane.

Pl: Była to piękna, stara broszka z czasów średniowiecza.
