En: Lack of evidence and accusatory glances from colleagues made her feel like she was in an icy trap.

Pl: Nawet Jan, starszy kustosz, patrzył na nią z niezbyt skrywaną niechęcią.
En: Even Jan, the senior curator, looked at her with barely concealed disdain.

Pl: Na jednej z map Magda dostrzegła starożytną notkę o tajnym przejściu.
En: On one of the maps, Magda noticed an ancient note about a secret passage.

Pl: Jej serce zabiło z ekscytacji.
En: Her heart raced with excitement.

Pl: Noc była mroźna, gdy Magda ruszyła korytarzami zamku, uważając na strażników.
En: The night was frosty when Magda moved through the castle's corridors, keeping an eye out for guards.

Pl: Świąteczne tony rozbrzmiewały echem, przywołując wspomnienia minionych Wigilii.
En: Festive tunes echoed, bringing back memories of past Christmas Eves.

Pl: Poszukiwania zaprowadziły ją do zakurzonego korytarza, znanego nielicznym.
En: Her search led her to a dusty corridor, known to few.

Pl: Tam, przy oknie, otuliła się płaszczem i przykucnęła, badając ścianę.
En: There, by the window, she wrapped herself in her coat and crouched, examining the wall.

Pl: Nagle znalazła niepozorny kamień, który pod naciskiem odsłonił wąskie wejście.
En: Suddenly, she found an inconspicuous stone, which, when pressed, revealed a narrow entrance.

Pl: Z oświetloną latarką Magda odkryła skrytkę, w której spoczywał zaginiony artefakt, osłonięty starożytnym płaszczem.
