Tr: Ezgi, geniş oturma odasında telaşla koşuşturuyordu.
En: Ezgi, in the spacious living room, was rushing around in a hurry.

Tr: Bugün Cumhuriyet Bayramı'ydı ve aile yemeği evlerinde olacaktı.
En: Today was Cumhuriyet Bayramı and the family dinner would be held at their house.

Tr: Sonbaharın turuncu yaprakları, büyük pencerenin arkasında nazikçe rüzgarda sallanıyordu.
En: The autumn's orange leaves were gently swaying in the wind behind the large window.

Tr: Ev, mis gibi kokan geleneksel Türk yemekleriyle dolmuştu.
En: The house was filled with the delightful aroma of traditional Turkish dishes.

Tr: Ezgi her şeyin mükemmel olmasını istiyordu. Geleneksel yemekler, tertemiz bir masa ve güler yüzlü bir karşılama.
En: Ezgi wanted everything to be perfect: traditional dishes, a spotless table, and a warm welcome.

Tr: "Kerem!" diye seslendi mutfaktan. "Yardım eder misin?"
En: "Kerem!" she called from the kitchen. "Can you help?"

Tr: Kerem, salonda rahatça uzanmış, televizyonda eski Cumhuriyet Bayramı törenlerini izliyordu.
En: Kerem, comfortably lounging in the living room, was watching old Cumhuriyet Bayramı ceremonies on TV.

Tr: "Tabii abla," dedi, gözlerini ekrandan ayırmadan. "Ne yapmamı istersin?"
En: "Sure, sis," he said without taking his eyes off the screen. "What do you need me to do?"

Tr: Ezgi nefes nefese yanına geldi. "Masayı kurmam gerekiyor. Ayranları da unutma!"
En: Ezgi came up to him, out of breath. "I need to set the table. Don’t forget the ayran!"

Tr: Kerem yavaşça doğrulup kalktı. "Tamam abla, hemen yaparım." Ancak kalkmasına rağmen, pek acele etmiyordu.
En: Kerem slowly got up. "Okay, sis, I'll do it right away." However, even as he stood, he wasn't in much of a hurry.

En: Ezgi let out a deep sigh to herself.
