Tr: Karaköy'ün dar sokaklarında, kışın soğuk rüzgarları esiyordu.
En: In the narrow streets of Karaköy, the cold winter winds were blowing.
Tr: İstanbul'un bu tarihi semtinde, eski kitapçı bir vaha gibi yer alıyordu.
En: In this historic district of Istanbul, an old bookstore stood like an oasis.
Tr: Ahşap raflar, eski kitaplarla dolup taşıyordu.
En: Wooden shelves were overflowing with old books.
Tr: Aslı, Emre ve Leyla, kitapçının önünde durdular.
En: Aslı, Emre, and Leyla stood in front of the bookstore.
Tr: Aslı'nın gözü raflardan birine takıldı.
En: Aslı's eyes caught on one of the shelves.

En: Just then, Mustafa Bey was about to close the store.
Tr: Yeni yıl öncesi hazırlıkları vardı.
En: There were preparations for the new year.
Tr: Aslı, çaresizce gözlerini tavana dikti.
En: Desperately, Aslı glanced at the ceiling.
Tr: Ama pes etmedi, "Lütfen, sadece bir dakika!" diye yalvardı.
En: But she didn't give up, "Please, just one minute!" she pleaded.

En: Seeing Aslı's passion, Mustafa Bey said, "Alright, let me show you something."
