Af: Op 'n helder lentemore, met die sonsopkoms wat skaars oor Tafelberg kyk, het Ruan by die ingang van die Kirstenbosch Botaniese Tuin gestaan, sy hart kloppend van opgewondenheid en 'n sweem van senuweeagtigheid.
En: On a bright spring morning, with the sunrise barely peeking over Tafelberg, Ruan stood at the entrance of the Kirstenbosch Botaniese Tuin, his heart pounding with excitement and a hint of nervousness.

Af: Die lug was deurdrenk met die geur van vars blomme, en die voëls het vrolik getjirp in die agtergrond.
