Af: Die ligte van die Iziko Suid-Afrikaanse Museum skyn helder oor die uitstallings soos die lente-son wat deur die bome buite skyn.
En: The lights of the Iziko South African Museum shine brightly over the exhibits like the spring sun shining through the trees outside.

Af: Klara stap stil-stil agter die res van haar klasmaats aan, terwyl sy oor die blink vloer kyk.
En: Klara walks quietly behind the rest of her classmates as she gazes across the shiny floor.

Af: Sy is in haar eie gedagtes verlore, gefassineerd deur die lewensgrootte modelle van dinosourusse wat haar omring.
En: She is lost in her own thoughts, fascinated by the life-sized models of dinosaurs surrounding her.

Af: Pieter hardloop langs haar verby, vol energie soos altyd.
En: Pieter runs past her, full of energy as always.

Af: "Klara, kyk na hierdie groot dinoring!
En: "Klara, look at this big dinosaur!"

Af: " roep hy, met sy vinger wys hy na 'n reuse diorama van 'n prehistoriese landskap.
En: he calls, pointing his finger at a giant diorama of a prehistoric landscape.

Af: "Ja, dit is indrukwekkend," sê Klara, maar haar ernstige blik is op iets anders gefokus.
En: "Yes, it is impressive," says Klara, but her serious gaze is focused on something else.

Af: Voor haar is 'n nuwe uitstalling, een wat sy lankal wou sien.
En: In front of her is a new exhibit, one she has long wanted to see.

Af: Dit gaan oor ou Suid-Afrikaanse wildlewe, iets waarvoor sy 'n diepe belangstelling het.
En: It's about ancient South African wildlife, something she has a deep interest in.
