Af: Frederik, 'n avontuurlike stapper met 'n liefde vir geskiedenis, het die kaart in sy hand vasgehou.
En: Frederik, an adventurous hiker with a love for history, held the map in his hand.

Af: Die lyne daarop was oud en vervaag.
En: The lines on it were old and faded.
