Cs: Podzimní pondělí začalo ve slunečním světle, ale s nádechem chladu, který se pomalu vkrádal do vzduchu.
En: The autumn Monday began in sunlight, but with a hint of chill that slowly crept into the air.

Cs: Malá předměstská čtvrť, ve které žili Jakub a Lenka, se rozzářila barvami padajících listů.
En: The small suburban neighborhood, where Jakub and Lenka lived, was brightened by the colors of falling leaves.

Cs: Trávníky byly posety zlatými a hnědými listy, tvořícími barevné koberce pod stromy.
En: The lawns were dotted with golden and brown leaves, forming colorful carpets under the trees.

Cs: Jakub stál na dvorku s hráběmi v ruce, odhodlán dokončit úklid předtím, než udeří první podzimní deště.

Cs: zeptal se Vojta, když k němu doběhl.

En: Jakub gave a weary smile.

Cs: "Jo, byl bych rád.
En: "Yeah, I'd appreciate it.

Cs: Špatně jsem došlápl."
En: I stepped wrong."

Cs: Vojta bez váhání vzal hrábě a začal hrabat listí.
En: Without hesitation, Vojta took the rake and started raking the leaves.

Cs: Jakub se s vděčností opřel o lavičku a sledoval, jak Vojta pracuje.
En: Jakub leaned against the bench with gratitude and watched Vojta work.

Cs: Bylo těžké přijmout, že tentokrát potřebuje pomoc, ale věděl, že bez Vojty by to nezvládl.

Cs: Jakub se k němu s malým úsměvem otočil.
