En: Evening cautiously, almost stealthily, crept into Praha.

Cs: Listí na stromech před Národním muzeem hrálo všemi barvami podzimu.
En: The leaves on the trees in front of the Národní muzeum displayed all the colors of autumn.

Cs: Uvnitř muzea však vládlo jiné naladění.
En: Inside the museum, however, a different mood prevailed.

Cs: Cenný artefakt zmizel.
En: A valuable artifact was missing.

Cs: Vzácná soška, vystavená při večerní výstavě, najednou nebyla k nalezení.
En: The rare statue, on display at the evening exhibition, was suddenly nowhere to be found.

Cs: Ludmila, oddaná kurátorka muzea, nervózně přešla po mramorové podlaze.
En: Ludmila, the dedicated museum curator, nervously paced across the marble floor.

Cs: V hlavě si přehrávala všechny detaily.
En: She replayed all the details in her head.

Cs: Tohle nemohla být čirá náhoda.
En: This couldn't be pure coincidence.

Cs: Tuší, že to musela být promyšlená krádež.
En: She suspected it had to be a well-thought-out theft.

Cs: Ale kdo by mohl mít zájem?
En: But who could be interested?

Cs: Do muzea toho dne zavítal i Jakub.
