Ro: Sub cerul gri al Timișoarei, fulgi mari de zăpadă cădeau, acoperind cu o pătură albă cartierul liniștit.

Ro: Adrian, un bărbat de vreo patruzeci de ani, stătea în pragul ușii bakery „La Gustul Copilăriei”.
En: Adrian, a man in his forties, stood on the doorstep of the bakery "La Gustul Copilăriei."

Ro: Era locul unde obișnuia să vină de mic, atras nu doar de pâinea proaspăt coaptă, ci și de căldura oamenilor ce-l întâmpinau de fiecare dată cu zâmbetul pe buze.
