Sk: Listy už dlho padali zo stromov a dýchali farebnosťou jesene.
En: Leaves had long been falling from the trees and breathed with the colors of autumn.

Sk: Učitelia a študenti sa pripravovali na oslavy, no vnútorný svet Mareka bol ešte zamrazený.
En: Teachers and students were getting ready for the celebrations, but Marek's inner world remained frozen.

Sk: Chodby internátu zvonili smiechom a ruchom.
En: The dormitory halls rang with laughter and commotion.

Sk: Krásne ozdobené veniecmi a lampiónmi lákali.
En: Beautifully decorated with wreaths and lanterns, they were inviting.
