En: The Vianočný trh in the village was full of lights, scents, and music.

Sk: Milan a Zuzana sa prechádzali medzi stánkami s cieľom nájsť dokonalý darček pre svojho priateľa.
En: Milan and Zuzana were walking among the stalls with the aim to find the perfect gift for their friend.

Sk: Milan chcel Zuzanu ohúriť a zároveň ju pobaviť.
En: Milan wanted to impress Zuzana and also amuse her.

Sk: Zuzana sa často usmievala keď videla, ako sa Milan stráca v dave.
En: Zuzana often smiled when she saw how Milan got lost in the crowd.

Sk: Na trhovisku vládla sviatočná atmosféra.
En: The marketplace had a festive atmosphere.

Sk: Vo vzduchu sa niesla vôňa pečených gaštanov a vianočnej škorice.
En: The scent of roasted chestnuts and Christmas cinnamon filled the air.

Sk: Milan sa pokúsil vziať Zuzanu na "skratku", o ktorej pevne veril, že vedie k najlepšiemu obchodu.

Sk: Ale znova a znova sa ocitli pred stánkom, ktorý viedol mrzutý predavač prezlečený za Santaklausa.
En: But again and again, they found themselves in front of a stall run by a grumpy vendor dressed as Santaklaus.

Sk: Tento Santa nebol moc veselý.
En: This Santa wasn't very jolly.

Sk: Jeho huňatá biela brada neukryla jeho podráždený výraz.
En: His bushy white beard didn't hide his irritated expression.

Sk: "Možno by sme sa mali trochu sústrediť," zamrmlala Zuzana, keď prechádzali popri stánku tretíkrát.
En: "Maybe we should focus a little," murmured Zuzana as they passed by the stall for the third time.

Sk: "Alebo nakoniec spravíme toho chlapíka úplne besným.
En: "Or we'll end up driving that guy completely mad."

Sk: "Milan sa uchechtol.
En: Milan chuckled.

Sk: "Neboj, viem presne, kam ideme," povedal sebavedomo, hoci jeho vtipkovanie len málokedy kladne vyznelo.
En: "Don't worry, I know exactly where we're going," he said confidently, although his jokes seldom went over well.

Sk: Nakoniec sa dostali do pokofu, kde mali rôzne tradičné výrobky.
En: Eventually, they reached a shop filled with various traditional products.

Sk: Tam, ako inak, opäť narazili na toho istého predavača.
En: There, unsurprisingly, they stumbled upon the same vendor again.

Sk: Tentoraz sa im podarilo prevrátiť malý stolík plný drobností.
En: This time, they managed to knock over a small table full of little trinkets.

Sk: Santa vydal frustrovaný výkrik a pohotovo ich zablokoval svojim pohľadom.
En: Santa gave out a frustrated cry and swiftly blocked them with his gaze.

Sk: Milan a Zuzana rýchlo vyzbierali popadané ozdoby a s úsmevom navrhli ospravedlnenie.
En: Milan and Zuzana quickly gathered the fallen ornaments and with a smile suggested an apology.

Sk: Zuzana našla v košíku perníkové srdcia a Milan rýchlo vylepšil situáciu, keď začali s radosťou spievať ovládajúcu vianočnú koledu, čo rozosmialo predavača.
En: Zuzana found gingerbread hearts in a basket and Milan quickly improved the situation as they began joyfully singing a commanding Christmas carol, which made the vendor laugh.

Sk: "Dobre, dobre, vy ste naozaj veselí," zasmial sa nakoniec predavač a ponúkol sa im s návrhom na darček.
En: "Alright, alright, you are really merry," the vendor finally...
