Sl: V ozračju hladne zime, na začetku praznične Ljubljane, so se ulice starega mestnega jedra lesketale pod težo snega.
En: In the atmosphere of a cold winter, at the beginning of festive Ljubljana, the streets of the old town center were glistening under the weight of the snow.
Sl: Svetleče luči so visele nad Prešernovim trgom, ki je bil pripravljen, da pozdravi novo leto.
En: Shining lights hung over Prešeren Square, which was prepared to welcome the new year.
Sl: V zraku je bil vonj po kuhanem vinu, radoživost pa se je širila med množico.
