En: "I have an idea," Mateja said as she turned to them.

En: "I've organized a little treasure hunt around the castle. I thought it might be fun."

Sl: Anže je bil nekoliko skeptičen, a Matejin navdušeni pogled ga je pregovoril.
En: Anže was somewhat skeptical, but Mateja's enthusiastic look won him over.

Sl: Kristina je končno odložila telefon in pogledala mamo.
En: Kristina finally put down her phone and looked at her mom.

Sl: "Lov na zaklad? Tukaj?" je vprašala.
En: "A treasure hunt? Here?" she asked.

Sl: "Da, po celotnem gradu! Skrijete moramo nekaj preprostih predmetov. In vsaka točka vas bo pripeljala bližje darilu," je pojasnila Mateja s smehom.
En: "Yes, throughout the entire castle! We have to hide a few simple items. And each spot will bring you closer to a gift," Mateja explained with a laugh.

Sl: Družina se je odločila sodelovati in Mateja je hitro pripravila majhne namige in naloge.
En: The family decided to participate, and Mateja quickly prepared small clues and tasks.

Sl: "Videli boste nekaj neverjetnega!
En: "You'll see something incredible!"

En: "I hope you're not thinking of some silliness again," laughed Anže, as he struggled to walk on the slippery stone.

En: Tadej agreed and bolted the door so the wind wouldn't open it.

Sl: Panično jih je skušal odpreti znova in znova.
En: Panicked, he attempted to open it repeatedly.

En: "I think we're locked in," he admitted with a heavy sigh.

Sl: "Odlično, Tadej," je Anže rekel sarkastično, a z nasmehom.
En: "Great, Tadej," Anže said sarcastically but with a smile.

Sl: "Kdo potrebuje escape room, če imamo tebe.
En: "Who needs an escape room when we have you."

Sl: ""Ne skrbi, bomo našli rešitev," ga je pomirila Jasna in začela iskati nekaj, kar bi jim pomagalo.
En: "Don't worry, we'll find a solution," Jasna reassured him and started looking for something that could help them.

En: She found a hairpin and tried to pick the lock with it.

En: "It's not as easy as in the movies," she said with a focused expression while working.

En: Snow began falling more densely, as a snowstorm started.

En: Ana smiled, but curiosity still gleamed in her eyes.

En: Matej and Ana knew they had a tough task ahead to decipher the mysterious words.

En: When the clock hands continued to creep after the last bell, Matej and Ana hid behind a nearby corner to watch the notice board.

En: We need perfection if we want to win," she answered, not taking her eyes off the experiment she was persistently monitoring.

Sl: Ko je čas do sejma začel pojemati, se je Mateja nenadoma ustavila in globoko vdihnila.
En: As the time to the fair began to dwindle, Mateja suddenly stopped and took a deep breath.

Sl: Pogledala je Žigo in rekla: "Kaj, če sem se zmotila?
En: She looked at Žiga and said, "What if I was wrong?

Sl: Kaj, če bomo kljub trudu sodniki razočarani?
En: What if the judges will be disappointed despite our efforts?"

En: Let's try one of my ideas," he replied with a warm voice full of support.

En: Matej looked at Ana, a spark of acknowledgment in his eyes, but he wasn't ready to give up.

En: "Ana, I should know the truth," he said.

En: In those moments of silence that followed, there was only the ticking of the clock and the voices of other guests conversing in the background.

Sl: "Matej," je Ana zbrala pogum in stopila bližje.
En: "Matej," Ana gathered her courage and stepped closer.

En: Matej stood behind his stall at the central Ljubljana market.

En: The cold winter wind blew through the rows of vendors who were trying to sell their goods that day.

En: The New Year was just around the corner, but holiday fatigue was evident on the faces of passers-by.

En: "Matej, the cold is worse today than usual," said Ana, his colleague, while warming her hands with tea.

Sl: "Bomo zmogli, Ana.
En: "We'll manage, Ana. We just need to wait for the right strategy," Matej replied optimistically, hoping that with a few changes, he would attract more customers.

Sl: Matej je začel razmišljati o tem, kako izboljšati prodajo.
En: Matej began thinking about how to improve sales.

Sl: Zložil je jabolka in hruške v barvitih piramidah in obesil rožne girlande nad stojnico.
En: He stacked apples and pears in colorful pyramids and hung floral garlands above the stall.

En: Then he decided to offer special discounts on seasonal fruit.

En: "Ana, I think we need to offer customers something they can't refuse," he said.

Sl: Ana je dvomljivo kimala.
En: Ana nodded doubtfully.

Sl: "No, poskusiva.
En: "Well, let's try. But don't aim too high. People only wander around the market to see the lights."

Sl: Toda Matej se ni predal.
En: But Matej didn't give up.

Sl: V joku hladnega vetra in pod sijem novoletnih luči je vztrajal.
En: In the cry of the cold wind and under the glow of the New Year's lights, he persisted.

Sl: Postavil je velik znak: "Novoletni popust - sveže in lokalno!".
En: He put up a large sign: "New Year's Discount - fresh and local!"

Sl: Sprva je bil tržni vrvež precej umirjen.
En: At first, the market hustle was quite calm.

Sl: A ko je sonce počasi zdrsnilo za obzorje in so luči zažarele še svetleje, so ljudje začeli prihajati.
En: But as the sun slowly slipped behind the horizon and the lights shone even brighter, people began to come.

En: Initially cautiously, then they started stopping at his stall.

Sl: Hitro so opazili njegov trud in fantastične cene.
En: They quickly noticed his effort and fantastic prices.

Sl: "Matej, glej, tvoj načrt deluje!" je Ana navdušeno opazila, ko so ljudje z vrečkami stali v vrsti.
En: "Matej, look, your plan is working!" Ana observed excitedly as people stood in line with bags.

Sl: Matejeva vztrajnost se je obrestovala.
En: Matej's persistence paid off.
