Story Transcript:

Cy: Emrys cerddodd ymlaen yn heini ar hyd y llwybr yn Eryri.
En: Emrys walked energetically along the path in Eryri.

Cy: Roedd yr haenen euraidd o ddail a’r awyr iach yn llenwi'i galon ag awydd i ddringo'r Wyddfa.
En: The golden layer of leaves and the fresh air filled his heart with a desire to climb Yr Wyddfa.

Cy: Dywedodd, "Nid oes unman gwell i deimlo'n fyw!"
En: He said, "There's no better place to feel alive!"

Cy: Roedd Carys ychydig yn ôl iddo, ei llygaid yn ofalus wrth iddi wylio'r cymylau trwm yn casglu uwch ei phen.
En: Carys was a little behind him, her eyes carefully watching the heavy clouds gathering above her head.

Cy: Dywedodd mewn llais tawel, "Emrys, mae'n edrych fel y bydd hi'n bwrw glaw yn fuan. Ydy'n ddiogel i barhau?"
En: She said in a quiet voice, "Emrys, it looks like it's going to rain soon. Is it safe to continue?"

Cy: Gwyneth, gyda gwen eang ar ei hwyneb, sgipiodd wrth y ddau.
En: Gwyneth, with a wide smile on her face, skipped past the two.

Cy: "Oh, gwnewch ymlaen! Peidiwch â phoeni cymaint. Byddwn ni'n cael hwyl er gwaetha'r glaw."
En: "Oh, come on! Don't worry so much. We'll have fun despite the rain."

Cy: Pan gyflawnodd yr ardal ar ymyl y goedwig, stopiodd y tri i edrych ar addewid y môr o goch, oren, ac aur a osodwyd gerllaw.
En: When they reached the area on the edge of the forest, the three stopped to look at the promise of a sea of red, orange, and gold laid before them.

Cy: Roedd y golygfa bron yn ddigon i wneud i bob un ohonynt anghofio'r cymylau duon a bellach nid oedd yr haul i'w weld.
En: The view was almost enough to make them all forget the dark clouds, and the sun was no longer visible.

Cy: "Dwi’n meddwl ein bod ni’n gallu dal i fynd," meddai Emrys gyda llais cyffrous.
En: "I think we can keep going," said Emrys with an excited voice.

Cy: "Dim ond yn lluosogi y mae’r antur."
En: "The adventure only multiplies."

Cy: Chwarddodd Gwyneth a chymerodd gam ymlaen, ond Carys tynnodd ei law yn ôl, amheuwr.
En: Gwyneth laughed and took a step forward, but Carys pulled her hand back, doubtful.

Cy: "Peidiwch â chwympo o gwmpas Gwyneth," meddai Carys.
En: "Don't stumble around, Gwyneth," said Carys.

Cy: "Rydyn ni i gyd yn gwybod bod y tywydd yma'n dwyn syndod."
En: "We all know the weather here can be surprising."

Cy: Emrys edrychodd ar Carys, gweld pwysigrwydd ei thrafodaeth.
En: Emrys looked at Carys, understanding the importance of her discussion.

Cy: Gwyddai’i fod yn dewr ond nid oedd yn awyddus i beryglu ei ffrindiau.
En: He knew he was brave, but he was not eager to endanger his friends.

Cy: Fodd bynnag, roedd yr yrru i gyrraedd copa’r Wyddfa yn enfawr.
En: However, the drive to reach the summit of Yr Wyddfa was enormous.

Cy: "Chi'n iawn, Carys," dddwedodd Emrys;
En: "You're right, Carys," said Emrys;

Cy: "Rhaid inni ystyried ein diogelwch ond rwy'n teimlo y gallwn gyrraedd y copa cyn i'r glaw ddechrau dywallt."
En: "We must consider our safety, but I feel we can reach the summit before the rain starts pouring."

Cy: Wydi hyn, penderfynodd y tri ffrindiau i barhau’n ofalus.
En: With that, the three friends decided to continue cautiously.

Cy: Wrth iddyn nhw ddringo, oedd y gwyntoedd yn cryfder, a dechreuodd y defnynnau glaw cyntaf syrthio.
En: As they climbed, the winds gained strength, and...
