Cy: Roedd niwl trwchus yn gorwedd dros Hen Dociau Caerdydd, a'r creoedd rhydlyd yn sefyll mewn tawelwch yn erbyn y cymylau.
En: A thick fog lay over the Hen Dociau Caerdydd, with the rusty cranes standing silently against the clouds.

Cy: Roedd gwynt oer yn cario arogl o hen straeon a gwahanol gyfrinachau'r môr.
En: A cold wind carried the scent of old tales and various secrets of the sea.

Cy: Roedd y llanw'n taro yn erbyn y pier anghofiedig.
En: The tide beat against the forgotten pier.

Cy: Yn y pellter, roedd golau llong yn cynnau ac yn diffodd, yn fflachio fel galwad o'r gorffennol.
En: In the distance, a ship's light flickered on and off, flashing like a call from the past.

Cy: Rhiannon, yn annog gan chwilfrydedd, safodd gyda'i ffrindiau Emrys a Gareth ar lan y dŵr.
En: Rhiannon, driven by curiosity, stood with her friends Emrys and Gareth on the water's edge.

Cy: "Mae'n debyg bod rheswm call am y golau yna," meddai, ceisio rhesymu.
En: "There's probably a logical reason for that light," he said, trying to reason.

Cy: Ond roedd Rhiannon yn gwybod bod rhywbeth mwy yno.
En: But Rhiannon knew there was something more there.

Cy: Roedd hi wedi clywed straeon ei theulu – gymaint o drwyadau posau, anghofiedig yn hanes ei hynafiaid.
En: She had heard her family's stories—so many strands of puzzles, forgotten in the history of her ancestors.

Cy: Fesul cam, daeth Gareth, pysgotwr hen gyda llygaid sy'n adlewyrchu chwedlau lleol, yn agosach.
En: Step by step, Gareth, an old fisherman with eyes reflecting local legends, came closer.

Cy: "Mae hon yn ardal o straeon, Rachel," meddai yn llawen.
En: "This is an area of tales, Rachel," he said cheerfully.

Cy: "Ond ddyla ti ofalu. Mae stori am long angheuol sy'n ymddangos yn y niwl yn ystod yr hydref. Stori am ysbrydion."
En: "But you should be careful. There's a story about a ghost ship that appears in the fog during the autumn. A story about spirits."

Cy: Cawodd gwynt cryf chwipio trwy'r dock, yn...lonni na ddylech fynd yno.
En: A strong wind whipped through the dock, warning that they shouldn't go there.

Cy: Ond, yn erbyn cyngor Emrys, penderfynodd Rhiannon ymddiried yn Gareth a mynd allan gyda'r hwyr.
En: But, against Emrys' advice, Rhiannon decided to trust Gareth and venture out late.

Cy: Roedd hi'n gwybod nad oedd hi ar unwaith gyda chyfle arall i ganfod gwirionedd y goleuadau.
En: She knew she wouldn't instantly have another chance to uncover the truth about the lights.

Cy: Wrth iddynt cyrraedd yr hen pier, daeth y goleuadau'n manylu i lawr atynt.
En: As they reached the old pier, the lights cast down upon them.

Cy: Sioc ohonynt i gyd wrth i lawr y dociau agor i ddatgelu coridor cudd.
En: They were all shocked as the dock floor opened to reveal a hidden corridor.

Cy: Y trio aeth ymlaen fel petai wedi'i fwyn adfer optiaeth newydd.
En: The trio moved forward as if they had been newly equipped with restored vision.

Cy: Wrth iddynt waeddi'r goleuadau curo gan y golau, roedd hyn o'r gwirion oedd y bu drws y cyfrinach allweddol roddir bywyd newydd i chwedlau lleol – dosbarth y rhifau a chymdeithas forwrol, gestrancedig nac angofiedig y gordd.
En: As their voices echoed beneath the lights, this was the truth that the secret door had given new life to local tales—a class of numbers and seafaring society, estranged and not forgotten by the...

Cy: Emrys cerddodd ymlaen yn heini ar hyd y llwybr yn Eryri.
En: Emrys walked energetically along the path in Eryri.

Cy: Roedd yr haenen euraidd o ddail a’r awyr iach yn llenwi'i galon ag awydd i ddringo'r Wyddfa.
En: The golden layer of leaves and the fresh air filled his heart with a desire to climb Yr Wyddfa.

Cy: Dywedodd, "Nid oes unman gwell i deimlo'n fyw!"
En: He said, "There's no better place to feel alive!"

Cy: Roedd Carys ychydig yn ôl iddo, ei llygaid yn ofalus wrth iddi wylio'r cymylau trwm yn casglu uwch ei phen.
En: Carys was a little behind him, her eyes carefully watching the heavy clouds gathering above her head.

Cy: Dywedodd mewn llais tawel, "Emrys, mae'n edrych fel y bydd hi'n bwrw glaw yn fuan. Ydy'n ddiogel i barhau?"
En: She said in a quiet voice, "Emrys, it looks like it's going to rain soon. Is it safe to continue?"

Cy: Gwyneth, gyda gwen eang ar ei hwyneb, sgipiodd wrth y ddau.
En: Gwyneth, with a wide smile on her face, skipped past the two.

Cy: "Oh, gwnewch ymlaen! Peidiwch â phoeni cymaint. Byddwn ni'n cael hwyl er gwaetha'r glaw."
En: "Oh, come on! Don't worry so much. We'll have fun despite the rain."

Cy: Pan gyflawnodd yr ardal ar ymyl y goedwig, stopiodd y tri i edrych ar addewid y môr o goch, oren, ac aur a osodwyd gerllaw.
En: When they reached the area on the edge of the forest, the three stopped to look at the promise of a sea of red, orange, and gold laid before them.

Cy: Roedd y golygfa bron yn ddigon i wneud i bob un ohonynt anghofio'r cymylau duon a bellach nid oedd yr haul i'w weld.
En: The view was almost enough to make them all forget the dark clouds, and the sun was no longer visible.

Cy: "Dwi’n meddwl ein bod ni’n gallu dal i fynd," meddai Emrys gyda llais cyffrous.
En: "I think we can keep going," said Emrys with an excited voice.

Cy: "Dim ond yn lluosogi y mae’r antur."
En: "The adventure only multiplies."

Cy: Chwarddodd Gwyneth a chymerodd gam ymlaen, ond Carys tynnodd ei law yn ôl, amheuwr.
En: Gwyneth laughed and took a step forward, but Carys pulled her hand back, doubtful.

Cy: "Peidiwch â chwympo o gwmpas Gwyneth," meddai Carys.
En: "Don't stumble around, Gwyneth," said Carys.

Cy: "Rydyn ni i gyd yn gwybod bod y tywydd yma'n dwyn syndod."
En: "We all know the weather here can be surprising."

Cy: Emrys edrychodd ar Carys, gweld pwysigrwydd ei thrafodaeth.
En: Emrys looked at Carys, understanding the importance of her discussion.

Cy: Gwyddai’i fod yn dewr ond nid oedd yn awyddus i beryglu ei ffrindiau.
En: He knew he was brave, but he was not eager to endanger his friends.

Cy: Fodd bynnag, roedd yr yrru i gyrraedd copa’r Wyddfa yn enfawr.
En: However, the drive to reach the summit of Yr Wyddfa was enormous.

Cy: "Chi'n iawn, Carys," dddwedodd Emrys;
En: "You're right, Carys," said Emrys;

Cy: "Rhaid inni ystyried ein diogelwch ond rwy'n teimlo y gallwn gyrraedd y copa cyn i'r glaw ddechrau dywallt."
En: "We must consider our safety, but I feel we can reach the summit before the rain starts pouring."

Cy: Wydi hyn, penderfynodd y tri ffrindiau i barhau’n ofalus.
En: With that, the three friends decided to continue cautiously.

Cy: Wrth iddyn nhw ddringo, oedd y gwyntoedd yn cryfder, a dechreuodd y defnynnau glaw cyntaf syrthio.

Cy: Yr oedd gwynt y hydref yn chwythu dros Gethin wrth iddo sefyll ar ddechrau'r llwybr tuag at gopa'r Wyddfa.
En: The autumn wind was blowing over Gethin as he stood at the beginning of the path towards the summit of Yr Wyddfa.

Cy: Daeth teulu Gethin i Barc Cenedlaethol Eryri am gyfarfod mawr teuluol, cyfarfod a deimlai Gethin yn bryderus drosto.
En: Gethin's family had come to Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri for a large family gathering, one that Gethin felt anxious about.

Cy: Serenai gwella'r perthynas â'i gyfnither, Carys, ac ei gefnder bywiog, Ioan, ond roedd rhywbeth yn dal ei stryffaglu, dymuniad cudd i fod yn rhan o'r teulu eto.
En: He desired to improve his relationship with his cousin, Carys, and his lively cousin, Ioan, but something was still holding him back, a hidden wish to be a part of the family again.

Cy: Gethin oedd yn awyddus i dorri'r drwm o bellter oedd yn gosod rhwng ef a'r rhai a unodd â'i enaid wrth i hwylio ffwrdd tua'r de.
En: Gethin was eager to break the drum of distance that lay between him and those who had bonded with his soul while sailing away south.

Cy: Wrth gerdded, roedd y dail cochion a melyn wrth eu gorau yn saethu eu lliwiau'n erbyn y wybren las.
En: As he walked, the red and yellow leaves were at their best, shooting their colors against the blue sky.

Cy: Teimlai Gethin y tyniant cryf o’r bryniau a'r cwestiynau yn cynddeiriogi yn ei ben.
En: Gethin felt the strong pull of the hills and the questions raging in his head.

Cy: Dim ond y lleisiau o’i blentyndod oedd yn llenwi’r tawelwch rhwng oddi tano, gyda’u canafon yn cychwyn ar lwybr taith gwahanol.
En: Only the voices of his childhood filled the silence below, their tales starting on different journey paths.

Cy: "Ia, 'nghariad," dawlais Carys wrth ochr Gethin, ei llais yn feddal yn erbyn gwynt y mynyddoedd.
En: "Yes, my dear," said Carys beside Gethin, her voice soft against the mountain winds.

Cy: "Mae 'na le i'r teulu i gyd dyma, a ti ydi rhan o hwnnw."
En: "There's a place for the whole family here, and you are part of it."

Cy: Roedd Ioan yn cerdded o'u blaen nhw, ei law yn pwyntio tuag at y copa, yn ei ystyr naturiol, bywiog, ond heb wybod iddo droi ei ben a chyfareddu'r hiraethnaeth yn wynebau ei gefndryd.
En: Ioan was walking ahead of them, his hand pointing toward the summit in his natural, lively manner, unaware that he had turned his head and enchanted the longing in his cousins' faces.

Cy: "Hei, cofiwch chi pan ddigwyddodd y stŵr wedi Kita’w farchnad? Warthed oedd hi," chwythodd Ioan, heb sylweddoli’r cwtogiad hwn a achosodd olygon trwm o Gethin.
En: "Hey, do you remember when that mess happened at Kita'w market? It was hilarious," Ioan blew, not realizing the frown this caused on Gethin's face.

Cy: Roedd Gethin yn sibrwd iddo fe’i hun wrth i’w deimladau ddirgel ddod i mewn fel y cwmwl isel oedd yn llusgo draw.
En: Gethin whispered to himself as his secret feelings came in like a low cloud dragging away.

Cy: Roedd ofn yn codi yn ei fron: a fyddai’n gallu datrys y curo’r hen henw mia am roi bwyd i’r dreudod?
En: Fear rose in his chest: would he be able to resolve the beating of the old name stigma for feeding the thrush?

Cy: Ond wrth ddringo tuag at y copa, gododd hon ar fer i'r wyneb.
En: But as they climbed toward the summit, this rose quickly to the surface.

Cy: Roedd gwynt ddrwg yn eu goddiweddyd wrth ddringo’r darn olaf.
En: A bad...

Cy: Byddai rhywun yn meddwl y gallai hyd yn oed tywydd hwydiog mis Tachwedd greu rhyw deimlad o amheuaeth yn llenwi lle fel Gardd Blodau Caerdydd.
En: One would think that even the dreary weather of November could create a sense of doubt in a place like Cardiff Flower Garden.

Cy: Ond nid heddiw, oherwydd roedd Carys a Glyndwr yn wynebu tasg heriol iawn.
En: But not today, because Carys and Glyndwr were facing a very challenging task.

Cy: Roeddent wedi derbyn llwyth anghywir o addurniadau ac yn lle ceirw anadladwy er mwyn y dathliad y gaeaf, roeddent bellach yn gwylio yn syn wrth y dwsinau o dwrci mawr yn cyfarch pob paso na’r ardd.
En: They had received the wrong delivery of decorations and instead of inflatable reindeer for the winter celebration, they were now staring in shock at dozens of large turkeys greeting every step at the garden.

Cy: "Wel, dim ond gyda'n un drws," meddai Glyndwr, sy'n sefyll wrthi'n ceisio tybied beth sy'n digwydd o'i flaen.
En: "Well, only with our door," said Glyndwr, standing there trying to fathom what was happening before him.

Cy: "Trwy'r drysau mawr y mae eu dialgoron 'rioed dychmygu hynny," cyfaddefodd Carys gydag ysmotyn o wên bwdr.
En: "Through the big doors, their messengers never imagined that," admitted Carys with a hint of a wry smile.

Cy: “Ond, beth bynnag, byddwn ni’n gwneud rhywbeth creadigol ohoni!
En: "But anyway, we'll make something creative out of it!"

Cy: ”Gan driw anian Glyndwr, roedd barddoneg pob yn cynnig "mae popeth fel piasog synnwyr gyhoeddadwy.
En: True to Glyndwr's nature, every rhyme offered up said, "everything is like a publishable sense of wonder."

Cy: " Ond doedd hynny ddim yn rhwystro Carys, a phenderfynodd allddynio hi.
En: But that did not deter Carys, who decided to think outside the box.

Cy: “Beth am greu ‘Tir Morwrol Twrci’?
En: "How about creating a 'Turkey Maritime Land'?"

Cy: ” Golachodd Carys gyda'i safle cyn cyfnewid syniadau rhyngddynt.
En: suggested Carys enthusiastically, before they exchanged ideas among themselves.

Cy: Er bod y syniad yn gwbl wallgo glywedol i lawer, diogres Glyndwr yn curo, rhoddodd benthyg eu cefnogaeth i’r project.
En: Even though the idea sounded utterly crazy to many ears, Glyndwr's steadfast determination won over their support for the project.

Cy: Trwy oriau lawer, cerdded o gwmpas â ffon lamp ffres, troi'r gerddi yn dirlwyno'n unigryw.
En: After many hours, walking around with a fresh lamp post, turning the gardens into a unique landscape.

Cy: Rhedeg i drws, mewn pensaerniaeth gochiog y Nadolig, roedd 'na dwrcis aroglus o'm hamgylch.
En: Running to doors, with Gothic Christmas architecture, there were aromatic turkeys all around.

Cy: Pan gyrhaeddodd cyngor y ddinas i amrywio'r prosiect, erbyn hyn, roedd y Tiemôr Tiwrci yn hollol wych i’w gweld yn golau’r hwyr.
En: When the city council came to survey the project, by then, the Turkey Timor was utterly magnificent to see in the evening light.

Cy: Tynodd gywicheglu yn y rhifyn acloed y teule forn nad oedd ei makeover yn cuddio'r dyrnai anadladwy, pe gallent fod ati'n uchel.
En: Pulling up to the edition climax filled with allure were not hiding the inflatable flock, if they could rejoice loudly.

Cy: "Gellid bod y cyfarfod pwysig yn methu'r wythnos nesaf," meddai Eira â brysurdeb yn ei llais.

Cy: Roedd cytundeb mawr i'w gynnal, a rhaid llyfr i'w cyflwyno.
En: There was a major contract to be held, and a book needed to be presented.

Cy: Heb y pecyn hwnnw, byddai’r cyfwelydd yn aros, ac roedd ei swydd mewn perygl.
En: Without that package, the interviewer would be waiting, and her job was in jeopardy.

Cy: Yn sydyn, clywodd sŵn uchel o'r tu allan.
En: Suddenly, she heard a loud noise from outside.

Cy: Yno, wrth y drws ffrynt, roedd Gwen, gydag eira gwyn ar ei clytiog siâp bach arbrawf.
En: There, by the front door, was Gwen, with white snow on her patchwork-shaped little apron.

Cy: "Beth am hyn?
En: "What about this?"

Cy: " rhaib Gwen yn llon, yn edrych ar yr hen sled pren defnyddiwyd sawl gaeaf yn ei phlentyndod.
En: laughed Gwen cheerfully, looking at the old wooden sled used many winters in her childhood.

Cy: "Yr hyn sydd ei angen ar Eira ar hyn o bryd yw antur," meddai Gwen â gwên o danochog wrth Eira.
En: "What Eira needs right now is an adventure," said Gwen with a teasing smile towards Eira.

Cy: Roedd ei nghalon dal i gystwyo.
En: Her heart was still racing.

Cy: Datblygai drwodd gollegeiddio'r sefyllfa, gwres yr unfed awr bryfocach nag erioed o'r blaen.
En: She unfolded through analyzing the situation, the warmth of the moment more enticing than ever before.

Cy: Ond gwyddai mai'r trenau oedd wedi eu cefnu ac am y ddau ohonynt, dim ond ffordd syml ar draws y parc yn aros i'w oel.
En: But she knew the trains were stopped and for the two of them, only a simple journey across the park awaited.

Cy: Wedi eiliad o ansicrwydd, yn ôl eu dewisiadau arferol, bugeiliais Eira gyfanswm y pecyn yn ei breichiau diwethaf, teimlodd fod popeth wedi'i paratoi'n dda.
En: After a moment of uncertainty, back to their usual choices, Eira shepherded the entire package into her arms at last, feeling that everything was well prepared.Show more...

Cy: Ar ddiwrnod disglair o hydref yn Eagan, Minnesota, roedd Catrin wrth ei bodd yn glynu ei thraed o gwmpas y llain cwpwl gwanwynól.
En: On a bright autumn day in Eagan, Minnesota, Catrin was delighted to wrap her feet around the edge of a spring lawn.

Cy: Roedd y lle wedi'i beintio â lliwiau euraidd ac oren, gyda pheth sefyll y nenfwd glas drwy ei amgylchynnu.
En: The place was painted with golden and orange colors, with some blue ceiling peeking through its surroundings.

Cy: Doedd dim ond un bwriad gan Catrin: i orseddu'r arddangosfa pwmpen gorau yn y gymdogaeth dros Ddydd Diolchgarwch.
En: Catrin had only one intention: to set the best pumpkin display in the neighborhood for Thanksgiving.

Cy: Roedd hi'n teimlo'n benderfynol o wneud ei gardd y lle gorau i weld yr wledd bythgofiadwy gan elwa o ogoniant sinillion ffrwythlondeb yr hydref.
En: She felt determined to make her garden the best place to witness the unforgettable feast, benefiting from the glory of autumn’s fertility symphony.

Cy: "Wna i ddim yn cael unrhyw help," meddai Catrin yn hynaws wrth Rhys a Megan, ei ffrindiau da a ddaeth draw gyda hi o Gaerdydd am gefnogaeth emosiynol.
En: "I'm not getting any help," Catrin said kindly to Rhys and Megan, her good friends who had come with her from Cardiff for emotional support.

Cy: Meddyliodd ei bod hi'n gallu cario pob pwmpen, heb ots pa mor fawr a mawrgyrhaeddol oeddynt.
En: She thought she could carry every pumpkin, no matter how big and grand they were.

Cy: Glywsodd chwerthin plant yn chwarae o gwmpas, eu cyffro'n uchel yn yr aer.
En: She heard the laughter of children playing around, their excitement high in the air.

Cy: Ymddiddorodd y ffrindiau mewn iechyd hwyr yn wylio Catrin yn bwrw ymlaen i dynnu'r pwmpen mawr, cylchog gyda ei breichiau llawn.
En: The friends took a late interest in watching Catrin forge ahead to grab the big, round pumpkin with her arms full.

Cy: "Dwi'n cadw pob un," meddai hi'n ostyngedig, wrth iddi geisio cydbwyso'r cyrff dybryd gyda chob fiw fel ei ŵyddod oedd hi wedi ymladd â naid ymlaen.
En: "I'm keeping every one," she said modestly, as she tried to balance the hefty bodies with a brave cob, like she was fighting a giant leap forward.

Cy: Onid oedd yn annodd sefyll mewn lle?
En: Was it not difficult to stand in place?

Cy: Rhys a Megan yn syllu gyda hiwmor ar ei hwyneb.
En: Rhys and Megan gazed at her with humor on their faces.

Cy: Roedd y pwmpenni'n anodd i'w llethu ac roedd un — dim ond un — yn llithro allan o'i gafael, gan reibi gwthio'r lleill i ddisgyn fel nionynnau dros dau ben ei brawddeg.
En: The pumpkins were hard to handle, and one—just one—slipped from her grasp, causing the others to topple like onions over the edge of her sentence.

Cy: Gan barlysu, chwarddodd Catrin â thylwyth, disynnu ei mawredd ei hun.
En: Startled, Catrin laughed heartily, astonished at her own grandeur.

Cy: "Wel, efallai dwi angen ychydig o help.
En: "Well, maybe I do need a little help."

Cy: " Ei wyneb yn goch yn aildrechu ar Rhys a Megan.
En: Her face turned red as she turned to Rhys and Megan.

Cy: Heb unrhyw hogia, rhuthrodd Rhys i helpu, tra bod Megan yn dod â basged i arbed traed Catrin rhag rhag ofn.
En: Without any hesitation, Rhys rushed to help, while Megan brought a basket to save Catrin's feet just in case.

Cy: Gyda'r tîm hwnnw'n cydweithio i'w harddangos, roedd y pwmpenni...

En: The sun was smiling brightly over the campus of Brifysgol Caerdydd (Cardiff University), but the chilly autumn frost reminded everyone that Christmas was approaching.

Cy: Roedd lliwiau llachar ar hyd y coridorau, â golau twinklo yn hongian uwchben.
En: Bright colors lined the corridors, with twinkling lights hanging overhead.

Cy: Wrth gerdded i lawr y coridor, roedd Gareth yn edrych yn anghydnaws.
En: As he walked down the corridor, Gareth looked out of place.

Cy: Roedd wedi gwisgo crys Nadolig dros ben - llachar, gwyrdd gyda Santa yn dawnsio - a sliperi blewog am ei draed.
En: He was wearing an over-the-top Christmas shirt — bright, green with a dancing Santa — and fuzzy slippers on his feet.

Cy: Roedd yn nerfus oherwydd cyfweliad pwysig ar-lein gyda cwmni breuddwydiol oedd yn digwydd mewn dim ond hanner awr.
En: He was nervous because of an important online interview with a dream company happening in just half an hour.

Cy: Roedd wedi arfer rhoi argraff dda wrth eraill, ond heddiw roedd ei ffocws wedi mynd yn groes dde i'r drws.
En: He was used to making a good impression on others, but today his focus had gone awry.

Cy: "Clinc!
En: "Click!"

Cy: " Roedd y drws wedi cau a Gareth ar y tu allan.
En: The door had closed with Gareth on the outside.

Cy: Dim bysellau.
En: No keys.

Cy: Roedd ei ystafell ar glo, a Gareth yn anobeithio.

Cy: Edrychodd i lawr ar ei ddillad, yn teimlo fel sbardun i chwerthin unrhyw un fyddai'n cerdded heibio.
En: He looked down at his clothes, feeling like the butt of the joke to anyone passing by.

Cy: "Dyn, a angen cerdyn i fynd yn ôl i mewn nawr," meddai Gareth iddo'i hun yn llawenwinda.
En: "Man, I need a card to get back in now," he said to himself with a wry smile.

Cy: Dyma lle daeth Carys i'r awel.
En: That's where Carys came into the picture.

Cy: Roedd hi'n arfer tynnu coes Gareth am faterion o'r fath.
En: She often teased Gareth about things like this.

Cy: Am eiliad, roedd Gareth wedi petruso gofyn am help ohono hi, ond fe benderfynodd wneud.
En: For a moment, Gareth hesitated to ask for her help, but he decided to do it.

Cy: "Carys!
En: "Carys!"

Cy: " oedd ei waedd desperado.
En: was his desperate call.

Cy: Roedd hi'n dod i lawr y coridor, gwên gwych ar ei hwyneb.
En: She was coming down the corridor, a beaming smile on her face.

Cy: "Be’ sy' di digwydd 'na, Gareth?
En: "What happened here, Gareth?

Cy: Nag it ti'n edrych fel stori o Bentref Bach yr hin?
En: Don't you look like a story from Pentref Bach yr hin?"

Cy: "Heb os, roedd ganddi gard bysell am ei ddrws.
En: Without a doubt, she had a key card for his door.

Cy: "Fe wnes i anghofio cloi, wyt ti'n gallu helpu fi?
En: "I forgot to lock it, can you help me?"

Cy: " meddai Gareth gyda gelyn ddiolchgar ar ei lais.

En: In the living room of Neuadd Preswylbyst Aberystwyth, Rhys sat at the table, surrounded by books and notes.

Cy: Er bod y cwymp yn wirioneddol hardd tu allan, gyda'r coed yn newid lliw a'r môr yn canu can uwchben y glannau, ni allai Rhys ymlacio.
En: Although the fall was truly beautiful outside, with the trees changing colors and the sea singing its song over the shores, Rhys couldn't relax.

Cy: Roedd presiwn dwys arno i lwyddo yn ei arholiadau a gwneud ei deulu yn falch.
En: There was intense pressure on him to succeed in his exams and make his family proud.

Cy: Cefndir oedd bach ac amlwg iawn yn Sir Gaerfyrddin lle'r oedd y disgwyliadau'n uchel.
En: He came from a small, very prominent background in Sir Gaerfyrddin where expectations were high.

Cy: Wrth gefnogi ei ben yn erbyn ei ddwylo, meddyliai Rhys am ei benwythnos trafod teuluol sydd ar y gweill.
En: Supporting his head against his hands, Rhys thought about the upcoming family discussion weekend.

Cy: "A allaf iddo fforddio colli'r amser astudio hwnnw?
En: "Can I afford to lose that study time?"

Cy: " Meddai yn isel.
En: he muttered quietly.

Cy: Er bod caru ei deulu, roedd yn gwybod y byddent yn siarad am ei astudiaethau, yn gofyn am ei gynnydd, yn poeni os na fyddai ar ben ei ddosbarth.
En: Although he loved his family, he knew they would talk about his studies, ask about his progress, and worry if he wasn't at the top of his class.

Cy: Gan dderbyn cwpl o nodiadau o Gareth a Eira trwy neges, ffrindiau Rhys, roeddent yn ei annog i gymryd egwyl o'r llyfrau a meddyliau.

En: Finally, the night before the important test arrived, and Rhys began to feel that he couldn't concentrate anymore.

Cy: Gydag ymennydd blinedig a llygaid trwm, cododd a phenderfynodd fynd am dro byr.
En: With a tired brain and heavy eyes, he got up and decided to go for a short walk.

Cy: Roedd yr aer cyffwrdd yn brusco yn ei wyneb wrth iddo gerdded trwy'r campws.
En: The cold air brushed against his face as he walked through the campus.

Cy: Roedd y dawelwch, yn rhyfedd, yn cynnig cysur.
En: The quiet, strangely, offered comfort.

Cy: Wrth edrych ar y dail melyn yn chwalu ar y ffordd, cofiodd Rhys wrthod iachawdwriaeth a chydbwysedd ar hyd ei ffordd.
En: Watching the yellow leaves scatter on the path, Rhys remembered refusing salvation and balance along his way.

Cy: Roedd yn bwysig ymestyn y breichiau ar y sgarff, ysbryd oddi.
En: It was important to stretch out one's arms, breathe deeply.

Cy: Wrth symud traed i'r rhythmau naturiol, aeth sefyllfa Rhys yn gliriach.

Cy: Roedd rhaid iddo ofyn amdano'i hun hefyd, wrth edrych ar deulu a dyletswyddau cyhoeddus.

Cy: Yn ninas brysur Caerdydd, roedd y gwynt hydrefol yn chwythu’r dail lliwgar dros y strydoedd.
En: In the bustling city of Caerdydd, the autumn wind was blowing the colorful leaves across the streets.

Cy: Roedd Bran yn cerdded ar hyd Heol y Bontfaen, ei wyneb yn cynnes gan y syniad o brynu côt newydd.
En: Bran was walking along Heol y Bontfaen, his face warm with the thought of buying a new coat.

Cy: Mae'n iawn pryd na ddylse oedi mwyach.
En: It's high time he should not delay any longer.

Cy: Mae'r oerfel yn dod.
En: The cold is coming.

Cy: Roedd Bran wedi troi ei sylw tuag at siop goets.
En: Bran had turned his attention towards the coat shop.

Cy: Roedd yr adeilad yn gynnes ac yn disglair, gyda chotiau sawl lliw a steil yn hongian ar y racs.
En: The building was warm and bright, with coats of several colors and styles hanging on the racks.

Cy: Edrychodd Bran ar bob côt, ei amheuon bob amser yn byrstio i'r wyneb.
En: Bran looked at each coat, his doubts always bursting to the surface.

Cy: "Pa blynedd ydy’r côt hwn yn para?" gofynnodd Bran i’r cynorthwyydd siop.
En: "How many years does this coat last?" Bran asked the shop assistant.

Cy: "Ac am faint mae'r un arall i'w gael?" Holiadau cyson oedd ei hoff ddull o baratoi dewis.
En: "And how much is the other one available for?" Constant inquiries were his favorite way to prepare a choice.

En: As he looked, Bran considered the cost.

Cy: Roedd côt wedi ei wneud o wlân pur drud ond o'r ansawdd goruwch ben.
En: There was a coat made of pure wool, expensive but of superior quality.

Cy: Wrth ymyl, côti polyester rhad, ond efallai y byddai'n gweithio am un hydref gysurus.
En: Next to it, a cheap polyester coat, but perhaps it would work for just one cozy autumn.

Cy: Efallai...
En: Maybe...

Cy: Awdurdododd y newyddion tywydd storm law annisgwyl i’d pobl neu cyn bo hir.
En: The weather news authorized an unexpected rainstorm for the people shortly.

Cy: Roedd Rhy agoriodd y drws yn gyflym, gan dorri ar draws y tawelwch eiddyll y siop.
En: Rhys opened the door swiftly, breaking through the fragile silence of the shop.

Cy: "Bran! Mi fydd y glaw yma mewn dim," sylwodd Rhys, ei lais yn llawn brys.
En: "Bran! The rain will be here in no time," noted Rhys, his voice full of urgency.

Cy: Gwybodaeth newydd a oedd dyma Bran - roedd angen gorffen cymharu cotiau a gwneud penderfyniad.
En: This was new information for Bran - he needed to finish comparing coats and make a decision.

Cy: Yn sydyn, roedd golygyddion ansicrwydd wedi cystadlu â’r pryder tebyg i linell goch rhwng ei amcan a’i gwallt.
En: Suddenly, editors of uncertainty competed with anxiety similar to a red line between his focus and his hair.

Cy: Nes i Bran ddod o hyd i Elin, ei ffrind agos, oedd yn aros ger allan.
En: Until Bran found Elin, his close friend, who was waiting nearby outside.

Cy: "Ai ar fenthyciad di?" gofynnodd Bran, ei lais yn drwm.
En: "Is it on loan?" Bran asked, his voice heavy.

Cy: Roedd y syniad o dreulio gormod o arian peminmor waeth o'i gymharu â’r angen.

Cy: Gofynnodd am bris, ac yn fuan roedd y tapestry yn ei dwylo.
En: She asked for the price, and soon the tapestry was in her hands.

Cy: Gyda gwen mawr, cerddodd Eira o'r farchnad.
En: With a big smile, Eira walked out of the market.

Cy: Roedd Aneira yn cerdded ar hyd llwybrau cul y pentref lle cafodd ei magu, teimlad o gyffro a nerfusrwydd yn ymosod arni.
En: Aneira was walking along the narrow paths of the village where she was raised, a feeling of excitement and nervousness attacking her.

Cy: Roedd hir flynyddoedd yn Awstralia wedi ei gadw draw, ond roedd hi bellach yn ôl ar ymyl Parc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog.
En: Many years in Australia had kept her away, but now she was back on the edge of Parc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons National Park).

Cy: Byddai'r into heulog a machludiau cochion Awstralia wastad yn aros gyda hi, ond roedd rhywbeth yn dwndro ei calon wrth weld lliwiau’r hydref yn gwibio drwy goed y pentref bach Cymreig.
En: The sunny skies and red sunsets of Australia would always stay with her, but something stirred in her heart at the sight of autumn colors flashing through the trees of the small Welsh village.

Cy: Gosod Teils uchel oedd yn ffynnu, gyda chathod yn strwy scicio drwy'r strydoedd.

Cy: Cusanodd ei rudd, y gwyntoedd cyntaf o ffresni hydrefol yn codi i fewn drwy'r drysau wedi eu hagor.
En: He kissed her cheek, the first winds of autumn freshness rising in through the open doors.

Cy: "Diolch, Dafydd," atebodd Aneira, yn gwrido.
En: "Thank you, Dafydd," replied Aneira, blushing.

Cy: "Mae'n teimlo'n od ac yn gyfarwydd.

Cy: "Fe baratoi Dafydd de a bara brith gan symud yn gyflym gyda llygaid yn siarad hyn a hyn.
En: Dafydd prepared tea and bara brith, moving quickly with his eyes speaking volumes.

Cy: Mae'r pentref yn dal i newid," meddai Dafydd yn ofalus.
En: "The village keeps changing," said Dafydd carefully.

Cy: "Eleni datblygodd Elin ei chaffi bach!
En: "This year, Elin developed her little café!"

Cy: "Mae Elin — ffrind plentyndod Aneira — wedi agor Caffi Cwtch, estynol o dan doched to gwellt.

Cy: Roedd gofal am gau porth o'r fath yn darparu lle ble roedd pawb yn cael eu croesawu gyda chwtsh cynnes.
En: The care in closing such a space provided a place where everyone was welcomed with a warm embrace.

Cy: Trannoeth, fe gynigiodd Dafydd awgrym, "Beth am ginio lawr wrth y caffi wedyn?
En: The next day, Dafydd offered a suggestion, "How about lunch down at the café later?

En: Discuss things while walking?
