Story Transcript:

Cy: Mewn ystafell fyw yn Neuadd Preswylbyst Aberystwyth, eisteddai Rhys wrth y bwrdd, wedi'i amgylchynu gan lyfrau a nodiadau.
En: In the living room of Neuadd Preswylbyst Aberystwyth, Rhys sat at the table, surrounded by books and notes.

Cy: Er bod y cwymp yn wirioneddol hardd tu allan, gyda'r coed yn newid lliw a'r môr yn canu can uwchben y glannau, ni allai Rhys ymlacio.
En: Although the fall was truly beautiful outside, with the trees changing colors and the sea singing its song over the shores, Rhys couldn't relax.

Cy: Roedd presiwn dwys arno i lwyddo yn ei arholiadau a gwneud ei deulu yn falch.
En: There was intense pressure on him to succeed in his exams and make his family proud.

Cy: Cefndir oedd bach ac amlwg iawn yn Sir Gaerfyrddin lle'r oedd y disgwyliadau'n uchel.
En: He came from a small, very prominent background in Sir Gaerfyrddin where expectations were high.

Cy: Wrth gefnogi ei ben yn erbyn ei ddwylo, meddyliai Rhys am ei benwythnos trafod teuluol sydd ar y gweill.
En: Supporting his head against his hands, Rhys thought about the upcoming family discussion weekend.

Cy: "A allaf iddo fforddio colli'r amser astudio hwnnw?
En: "Can I afford to lose that study time?"

Cy: " Meddai yn isel.
En: he muttered quietly.

Cy: Er bod caru ei deulu, roedd yn gwybod y byddent yn siarad am ei astudiaethau, yn gofyn am ei gynnydd, yn poeni os na fyddai ar ben ei ddosbarth.
En: Although he loved his family, he knew they would talk about his studies, ask about his progress, and worry if he wasn't at the top of his class.

Cy: Gan dderbyn cwpl o nodiadau o Gareth a Eira trwy neges, ffrindiau Rhys, roeddent yn ei annog i gymryd egwyl o'r llyfrau a meddyliau.
En: Receiving a couple of notes from Gareth and Eira via message, Rhys's friends encouraged him to take a break from the books and thoughts.

Cy: Ond roedd teimlo fel roedd y pwysau ar ei ysgwyddau yn ormod.
En: But it felt like the weight on his shoulders was too much.

Cy: O'r diwedd, cyrhaeddodd y noson cyn y prawf pwysig, a Rhys dechreuodd deimlo nad oedd yn gallu canolbwyntio mwyach.
En: Finally, the night before the important test arrived, and Rhys began to feel that he couldn't concentrate anymore.

Cy: Gydag ymennydd blinedig a llygaid trwm, cododd a phenderfynodd fynd am dro byr.
En: With a tired brain and heavy eyes, he got up and decided to go for a short walk.

Cy: Roedd yr aer cyffwrdd yn brusco yn ei wyneb wrth iddo gerdded trwy'r campws.
En: The cold air brushed against his face as he walked through the campus.

Cy: Roedd y dawelwch, yn rhyfedd, yn cynnig cysur.
En: The quiet, strangely, offered comfort.

Cy: Wrth edrych ar y dail melyn yn chwalu ar y ffordd, cofiodd Rhys wrthod iachawdwriaeth a chydbwysedd ar hyd ei ffordd.
En: Watching the yellow leaves scatter on the path, Rhys remembered refusing salvation and balance along his way.

Cy: Roedd yn bwysig ymestyn y breichiau ar y sgarff, ysbryd oddi.
En: It was important to stretch out one's arms, breathe deeply.

Cy: Wrth symud traed i'r rhythmau naturiol, aeth sefyllfa Rhys yn gliriach.
En: As his feet moved to the natural rhythms, Rhys's situation became clearer.

Cy: Roedd rhaid iddo ofyn amdano'i hun hefyd, wrth edrych ar deulu a dyletswyddau cyhoeddus.
En: He realized he also had to ask for himself, in looking at family and public duties.

Cy: Pan...
