Cy: Roedd yr haul yn gwenu'n braf dros gampws Brifysgol Caerdydd, ond roedd rhew oeri'r hydref yn atgoffa pawb fod Nadolig yn agosáu.
En: The sun was smiling brightly over the campus of Brifysgol Caerdydd (Cardiff University), but the chilly autumn frost reminded everyone that Christmas was approaching.

Cy: Roedd lliwiau llachar ar hyd y coridorau, â golau twinklo yn hongian uwchben.
En: Bright colors lined the corridors, with twinkling lights hanging overhead.

Cy: Roedd myfyrwyr yn brysur yn rhuthro gyda'u hysbyllau a'u hetiau, yn trafod gwaith cwrs a hoff ddiod y tymor.
En: Students were busy rushing with their backpacks and hats, discussing coursework and their favorite seasonal drinks.

En: He looked down at his clothes, feeling like the butt of the joke to anyone passing by.

En: "What happened here, Gareth?

Cy: Nag it ti'n edrych fel stori o Bentref Bach yr hin?
En: Don't you look like a story from Pentref Bach yr hin?"

Cy: "Heb os, roedd ganddi gard bysell am ei ddrws.
En: Without a doubt, she had a key card for his door.

Cy: "Fe wnes i anghofio cloi, wyt ti'n gallu helpu fi?
En: "I forgot to lock it, can you help me?"

Cy: " meddai Gareth gyda gelyn ddiolchgar ar ei lais.
En: said Gareth with a grateful tone in his voice.

Cy: "Wel, mae’n rhaid...
