Daren taught us that, just as with the man born blind, Jesus sees what we don't see and that sometimes the things that happen to us are simply for God's glory. Even as Bro. Daren called cancer by name, he did not know that within a few hours he would be diagnosed with a mass on his brain, and that by the end of the week he would have undergone two major surgeries for Stage 4 colon cancer.
