All about Business Analytics with Gregory Streatfield

In this month’s episode, Payal Jain talks to Gregory Streatfield about finding your industry fit in the field of Business Analytics.

Listen to their candid conversation as they talk about the exciting times ahead for the Analytics industry and what it takes to survive and thrive in this space.

Gregory Streatfield, Founder of Knowsis, is a customer insights expert with over 18 years of intensive experience consulting on the use of customer data to inform business decisions and growth strategies across a wide range of industries. Holding a Masters of Science in Research Psychology and a Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Cognitive Science, he has always been intrigued by why customers make the brand purchase decisions they do, which drove his initial decision to pursue a career in customer insight.

His award winning paper on Big Data entitled “If we are good researchers, why should we fear more data” initiated an interest and exploration of the broader use of customer analytics, data science and machine learning beyond more traditional qualitative and quantitative methodologies and approaches commonly used in Market Research. Most recently senior roles in the advertising and grocery retail industries have given him first hand experience in the huge opportunity for customer insight generated through the integration of traditional customer surveys with other rich customer data sources (i.e. customer panels, social media, digital analytics, loyalty programs and transactions).

Tune in to enable your smart and purpose driven choices!
