Getting into Flight is a lot like dating—you don’t marry the first person you meet.
You go out, you learn what you want, what you don’t want, and what actually feels like the right fit. That’s exactly what ride-alongs are for.
Ride-alongs let you and flight companies get to know each other in a relaxed environment—long before a formal interview. You don’t want your first interaction to be the interview. You want them already bought into who you are prior to the interview.
The biggest mistake I see? Waiting until the 3-year mark and expecting to “marry” the first opening that appears. Most of those spots are already spoken for by people who started building relationships early.
In this episode, I break down why starting now—doing consistent ride-alongs and making connections—puts you at the top of the list instead of the bottom.
If Flight is your goal, don’t wait. Start now.
I’ll be covering this deeper in my next free training on Monday, January 12th @ 12:00 PST.
And if you’re ready to take action, come join The Flight Prep Academy. I’ll help you map out your plan and land your first ride-along this month.
And if you’re at the 2.5-year mark or more, let’s get you hired in the next couple of months.
