this is probably the shortest episode to date, but it was still longer than i had expected. i was thinking like 7 minutes tops but we actually got to 10! also i still need a new mic lol
idk if you can tell but im kind of proud of the title, i think it slaps. also turns out the mic quality was in fact, different than usual...
Abolishing the hiatus allegations and welcoming you back with a rebrand <3 Also a slightly passionate talk on how I go through my days, hope you enjoy!
P.S No you weren't hallucinating. The cricket noises were real; unfortunately my mic picks up the audio whenever I speak ;_;
Had a mental block trying to get my life together this month and recording this episode made me feel like I have some semblance of order after weeks of nothingness. Either way, hope you enjoy! Off to finishing WIPs!
I did it. I beat the hiatus allegations. I’m finally back with a new episode and I finally solved the issue with sudden fade/glitches in the audio!! I recorded the episode using Audacity this time and it worked amazingly. Although I would like to know why the glitches are recurring with Audition whenever I record, despite every other function working just fine. Regardless, I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did when I recorded it!
I’ll see you in the next episode with Block!
Alas, after a month a new episode has dropped! Enjoy this episode where I go over the story It Begins Here; inspiration, characters, and songs...? In other words, an attempt was made.
There are some technical difficulties like last time, if not worse (glitch right in the beginning of the episode). I'm still growing accustomed to Audition so there might actually be a way to counter the issue, but I can only hope that I figure it out before the next episode comes out! See you for The Moment She Realised!
P.S: In the original recording I've uploaded to YouTube you will hear the outro music I said I was gonna include, but it sounded cheeky so I reuploaded the raw unedited audio instead
Welcome to The Story Records podcast! It's a project I started for one of my last diploma assessments (final year project) and I plan on continuing this work because it's something I've been wanting to do for a while now.
I apologise for the audio glitches and hiccups - I couldn't track them during recording and the software couldn't do anything to fix the issue :(
