Hey, I’m Kayla Fahey-Ahrndt, MPH, MLS(ASCP)SBB…but you can call me KFA! I’ve got 12+ years of professional healthcare leadership experience, and I have 9+ years of management experience. I’m a mama of 3 littles, wife and best friend to my hubby who is also in healthcare, and coffee and planner obsessed.
When I first stepped into my first professional leadership role, I was promoted quickly! At the time, I was a new mama and had way less experience than those I was leading. I knew I needed to learn and grow in order to succeed in my role.
I lacked work-life balance and had no boundaries. I experienced burnout quickly by trying to people please and do everything myself. I worked long hours and my relationships suffered as a result.
I finally realized that I needed simple, effective strategies to help me get organized and manage my competing priorities.
I created my own daily management tool which helped me get organized, manage stress, achieve work-life integration. I quickly became the go-to leader for innovative healthcare leadership, and I was promoted again!
If you are ready to implement sustainable systems and strategies to help you get organized, ditch the burnout, and finally get the recognition you deserve, grab your coffee or bubbly and press play on my show while you rock your spreadsheets! It’s time to dive in!

The TEST Method: A Delegation Framework Every Leader Needs to Know (Day 3 - The 12 Days of Leadership)
If you're overwhelmed, stretched thin, or constantly doing tasks your team could be doing, this episode is your permission slip to step into real leadership — not constant doing.
On Day 3 of the 12 Days of Leadership series, we’re diving into one of the most powerful (and most avoided!) leadership skills: delegation. Whether you're a new manager learning how to lead for the first time or a seasoned leader trying to get out of the weeds, today’s episode gives you a simple, repeatable framework you can use immediately.
You’ll learn my signature TEST Method of Delegation:T — TeachableE — ExcitedS — StrengthT — Try (Willingness)
This framework helps you decide what to delegate, who to delegate to, and how to do it in a way that builds trust, confidence, and capability on your team — not micromanagement, confusion, or rework.
We’ll also cover:✨ Why leaders struggle to delegate (and how to overcome the mental barriers)✨ How to avoid burnout through task redistribution✨ How delegation increases efficiency, accountability, and team ownership✨ The 80/20 rule: When “good enough” is the right standard✨ How delegation frees you to focus on strategic leadership and long-term impact
If you want to stop firefighting, lead more intentionally, protect your energy, and focus on higher-value work, today’s episode will change everything.
👉 Keywords: delegation framework, how to delegate as a new manager, leadership delegation tips, avoid burnout at work, leadership development for managers, improving team accountability, prioritization for leaders, effective leadership skills, management training, productivity for leaders, executive leadership development
