4.14 Sugar Babies & Directing w/ SAM COPPOLA

This week on the pod we have special guest SAM COPPOLA, Director and Writer of SEEKING SUGAR starring JEANNIE ELISE MAI and JOHN O'HURLEY!!

Sam Coppola is a Los Angeles–based writer and director. Her short film Seeking Sugar is currently on its festival run, including the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival, and she is actively developing the project into a feature film.

A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Coppola has worked for acclaimed directors Julie Anne Robinson, Jody Hahn, and Oscar-winner Ellen Goosenberg Kent on projects for Hulu, ABC, and Disney+. She also served as an associate producer on the Emmy-winning short Ball & Vase.

Coppola currently serves as Creative Director for American Skating Entertainment Centers and for musician Leo Amario. She will enter pre-production this spring on a true-crime musical she co-wrote and will direct.
