With great sensitivity, Georgina opens up about the heartbreaking loss of her younger sister Tammy, who tragically passed away in 2025 after a violent incident involving a housemate with a history of domestic violence. Tammy had reported concerns multiple times but was failed by the systems meant to protect her.

Georgina shares how this loss forever changed her — leaving her grieving both her sister and the version of herself that existed before. She now lives with intention, honouring Tammy’s spirit and carrying her “better half” energy forward. We are deeply thankful to Georgina for trusting us with such a personal and powerful story.

This week on Get The Gist, we went through it ALL with out sorcial guest Savage Dan who, and chaos in between. We asked if AI is taking over or if we’re just training it to outsmart us, why reading your terms & conditions actually matters, and whether horoscopes are fun or frighteningly accurate. We debated if women ruled the world, would there even be wars, translated the infamous tearing nyash, and explored the classic debate: women are cats, men are dogs.

We got real about parenting—is 1→2 kids harder than 2→3, and what’s tougher: raising babies or adults?
