Much of her life story, as we uncovered it, is a life of surrender, and watching God's blessings come in. We talk about the reality that for those who believe - surrender is a huge key and there are a lot of little surrenders along the way. Letting go of what you think you are and what you think you should/could do and be to make room for who God says you are and what He wants to unfold for you - it's a key to your believing life. There are certain things in life that forge us into who we are as individuals. Parents obviously play one unique role in that journey. I’ve always had a love for words and looking back I realize my dad‘s career in broadcast journalism had a big impact on that. Back in the day when ON AIR meant something, I found that I too loved to communicate. In the early days for me that took the form of poetry and writing and a small stint as a Saturday night DJ for Renegade Radio. But I wanted him to share some of the fun highlights of being a DJ in South Lake Tahoe when, as a young adult he brushed shoulders with some "stars". I hope you enjoy this episode which has NOTHING  to do with the podcast content to come but in general  was a fun way to get some of his story out there for others to hear!
