Christmas didn’t begin with a baby in a manger, but in the mind of an eternal God before the world even began.

As we see God giving Zechariah and Elizabeth the baby they had always wanted in Luke 1, what we also see is that the greater answer to their prayer is that the Messiah is coming!

As we conclude the book of Acts, we are reminded what Paul’s life was all about, and what we are doing isn’t new; it’s just our turn.

Acts 21 begins by detailing Paul’s final journey towards Jerusalem. As he approaches, he understands what lies before him, and he has counted the cost and submits his will to the will of God, even if it means suffering.

In Acts 20, we unpack Paul’s last face-to-face with the leaders of the church in Ephesus and remind them of how he lived and how they should lead the church.

We examine the practice of the Lord’s Supper and how, in the early church, amidst challenges, diversity, and busy lives, the Lord’s Supper served as a regular reminder of what Christ did, is doing, and will do. An anchor to reorient our lives around Jesus and the Gospel.
