And, it's Bears Week again so we give our thoughts on the second matchup in 13 days, this one in Chicago.
It was a cold December day at Lambeau Field...
Big plays, loud crowds, festive tailgating, the Chicago Bears, and making new friends through social media.
And, a look ahead to Denver.
We get caught up and review two games: Packers/Vikings and Packers/Lions.
We also talk about tailgating in Green Bay and how it compares to post-gaming. The Lot 1 Tailgate Party also had a wedding proposal before the Vikings game.
Plus, a preview of Packers/Bears. It's Bears Week!
We talk about the Packers victory over the Giants at MetLife Stadium, including a truly dominating performance by Jordan Love. If only we could see the version of the game without all of the drops on offense and defense.
We also discuss the fan experience in NYC (and how it's different from that in Green Bay), including a fun evening at the legendary West Village Packers bar Kettle of Fish.
Plus, a brief preview of Packers/Vikings and Packers/Lions in the short week.
Ed Konopasek was an undrafted free agent signed by the Packers in 1987. He talked about the process of signing as an UDFA in the NFL, the nature of minicamps and training camp, and trying to make the team.
Ed returned to the Packers as a replacement player in 1987, starting three games at Left Tackle. We talk about the strange season of 1987 and what it's like to play for the Packers at Lambeau Field. He also talked about why Forrest Gregg was the perfect coach for the replacement players, as well as about how Tim Harris was a great leader on the team.
Plus, the adjustment to life after football and why he chose to live in Green Bay after his playing days. "Big Ed" was a really fun interview with lots of stories.
A review of the Monday Night Football loss against Philadelphia where the defense looked strong and held the opponents to just 10 points in the game. At the midway point of the season, the offense is sputtering.
We also look at tailgating with the Gold Package crowd under the disco light and get ready for the trip to New York to face the Giants in the Meadowlands.
We talk about the Packers/Panthers game and tailgating as part of a weekend that was fun in Green Bay (other than the game).

We talk with Corrie Campbell of Legendary Enterprises, LLC, about the campaign to get Jack Vainisi into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (including a press conference on Monday, November 10, 2025, and the establishment of The Jack Vainisi Award).
Jack Vainisi built the foundation for the 1960s Lombardi Packers, revolutionized scouting in the NFL, and invented the modern basis for personnel departments.
Corrie also talks about The Green Bay Legends District (east of Lambeau Field) and how it celebrates Packers History.
We review a fabulous GBC Podcast road trip to Pittsburgh: the City, the Fans, and the Game.
We had the excitement of the Packers facing Aaron Rodgers, the energy of Packers fans all weekend, the dominant second half, and the takeover of Acrisure Stadium.
Our hosts in Pittsburgh were amazing. Thank you, Pittsburgh, for being so welcoming and making it an absolutely superb weekend.
We review the Packers/Cardinals game and Micah Parsons had a day!
The GBC Podcast Road Trip is off to Pittsburgh. We preview the entire weekend in the Steel City.
We review the Packers/Bengals game in Green Bay and the pre-game and stadium atmosphere. It was a good day for tailgating.
Plus, a preview of the Packers/Cardinals game as the team heads to Phoenix.
We preview the Packers-Bengals game. We look forward to seeing the Bengals fans and Bengal Jim come to Green Bay for a great Sunday of tailgating before the game, while also looking back at the 2021 Packers game in Cincinnati that started our tradition of an annual road trip and planted the seed for the GBC Podcast.
We talk with Mark and Jamie from Cheeseheads with Attitude, creators of Packers party songs including "I'm a Cheesehead Baby," "Where the Hell is Neenah?," and "Packer Face". We talk about their origins and rise, how to write a perfect parody song, reactions by Packers fans to C. W. A., and details of performing and the recording business.
We review the Packers-Cowboys 40-40 tie: the good (offense), the bad (defense), and the ugly (special teams/asshats and coaching/time management). We get a bit passionate talking about this very frustrating game.
We discuss the Calamity in Cleveland, the Disaster at the Dawg Pound, the Embarrassment on Erie, Bleak vs the Browns, whatever other words you want to use to describe the collapse of the Packers and their bed-sh**ting against the Browns. Plus a preview of the Packers against the Cowboys at Jerryworld!
