With the sting from the semifinal loss still pretty strong, we sat down to talk about the game. Additional conversations spread to some broader perspectives.  We were flooded with fan questions and nearly half of the pod is covering those.  In the weeks ahead the GFP will release another look ahead pod and full dissection on the 2025 season.

It’s time to talk about the greatest upcoming game in the Griz / cat rivalry.  We’re back in studio together to talk about what Montana needs to do to win the game.

Arguably the biggest sporting event in Montana will occur this Saturday when the Grizzlies and Bobcats meet in the FCS semifinals. This week’s GFP we give some time to recap the USD win and then move into the upcoming game against the bobcats. Legacies and bragging rights will forever be on the line this weekend, ramp it up with the GFP! Go Griz!

With a week of rest the Montana Grizzlies put on their best performance of the season in a masterful beatdown of the SDSU Jackrabbits.  This week we dive into our takeaways from the game and what this means going forward.  We look around the playoffs a bit and give some time to Montana’s next opponent, South Dakota.  The last 90 minutes or so cover the overwhelming amount of fan questions.

Joining the pod for the first hour and half is head coach Chris Citowicki, associate head coach J Landham, and associate coach Ashley Herndon. We discuss their backgrounds, their coaching style, and the soccer season that ended with the Griz as Big Sky Tournament Champions. There we a lot of fan questions for the staff, so we ask those during this segment as well. From there the 2nd half of the pod is talking on the upcoming SDSU game, the FCS playoffs, and fan questions on football.

The Brawl of the Wild is days away, and joining the Griz Fan Pod is a throwback cast from the Mint Sports Era. Hot (cold) Take Nate and Montana Parlay link up with the GFP for a statewide perspective of the Brawl.

It’s cat week, and time for the Brawl of the Wild.  Joining the pod are two former Grizzly players, Samuel Akem and Tyler Hobbs.  Buckle in for 3.5 hours of all the stories and the trash talk you can handle. 

We’re giving final thoughts on the EWU game and we preview the Portland State game.  We also give some time to the men’s hoops win over UNLV and we assign some madden rankings to the football team.

GFR is back to talk Friday night lights in Sacramento! Who gave these guys a radio show?

The Montana Grizzlies are off to their best start since 2009. However, the GFP has concerns. Coming off a choppy win against Sacred Heart we dissect and debate areas of concern and needed improvement. After a quicker chat around the game itself more outward comparison is considered as we look around the rest of the FCS. From there, it’s time to discuss the upcoming Sacramento State game. The comments made Saturday night from prior pod guest, Sac State president Dr. Luke Wood started a firestorm online. As always, we close out with fan questions that range from Halloween candy, dive bars, and defensive scheme.

GFR is back!  This week Mike, Kyle, and Brint wrap up thoughts on the homecoming weekend and events and how UM marketing hit a home run.  They discuss the Griz at the midway point of the season, and then scout out the Sacred Heart Pioneers.

For the first time since 2009 the Montana Grizzlies have opened the season 6-0. This homecoming came started slow, but the Griz found their stride and finished strong. This week we break down takeaways, concerns, and impressions around the conference as the FCS is starting to take shape.

Games at ISU are always low-stress and very calming for the Griz and none of the hosts of this podcast panicked about it at all.
