Elder Dallin H. Oaks’ Forgotten Congressional Testimony on Religious Freedom
Most Christians know that religious freedom is under attack today. Few realize it’s already happened here—in America—and that an official government order once declared that an entire church “must be exterminated or driven from the state.” This week marks the anniversary of the 1838 Missouri Executive Order 44. Elder Dallin H. Oaks’s powerful Senate testimony on why the free exercise of religion must never be surrendered. We’ll cover: The persecution that drove early Saints from Missouri and Illinois Why the “Extermination Order” still matters for every believer today How Elder Oaks’s legal and apostolic defense of faith points to divine principles of agency and conscience What the restored gospel teaches about religious liberty as a spiritual—not just political—law Freedom of religion isn’t just about what we believe. It’s about who we’re allowed to become in Christ when no one else stands in the way. Do Evangelicals Make Marriage Harder Than It Should Be? Feat. Ruslan
Ruslan says marriage won’t fix sin, that discipline is the answer, and even suggests young people shouldn’t worry about the Sabbath. But without true doctrine, this advice falls short. In this video, I respond point by point from the perspective of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We’ll cover: -Why discipline without doctrine isn’t enough -How the law of chastity and eternal marriage make relationships thrive instead of just survive -Why keeping the Sabbath is God’s formula for lasting success -The difference between playing defense in creedal Christianity vs. playing offense in the Lord’s plan of salvation (once you see it you cant unsee it) Evangelicals often talk about what we’re saved from. The restored gospel shows what we’re saved for. It’s 11pm and Someone Wants to Debate Religion? I'm Down. Let’s Go!!
It was past bedtime and I saw a post for a live open mic debate. Sure, why not. "while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way." - Matt 13 -Not today Satan-

Theological Stockholm Syndrome: How the Trinity Became Christianity’s Deep State Doctrine
Questioning the Trinity is like trying to cancel a gym membership—taxing, frustrating, and somehow you end up in worse shape. But why is there such a visceral reaction to even questioning it? In this video, I break down Theological Stockholm Syndrome—how centuries of persecution, dogma, and intellectual investment make the Trinity untouchable for many Christians.

Inspired by a video from Ruslan (a rich man's Mike Winger), I explore:
🔥 How the Trinity became an untouchable doctrine
🔥 The historical and political consequences of rejecting it
🔥 Why people cling to it despite its contradictions
🔥The Nicene Creeds were the original "speech codes"—reject them, and you were not just wrong; you were dangerous.
🔥 Ancient Thought Crimes: In the Roman Empire, the Nicene Trinity became the state-approved theology—rejecting it wasn’t just heresy; it was sedition.
🔥 How Church authorities maintained power by making the Trinity a loyalty test.
🔥 The Trinity as a Sunk-Cost Ideology that requires more commitment, not re-evaluation.

Along the way, I’ll highlight some of the absurd things Ruslan says, using his own words to illustrate the sunk cost fallacy at play.

If you've ever wondered why Trinitarians react like you just insulted their life savings—well, in a way, you did.

📜 Historical Persecution for Rejecting the Trinity:
Michael Servetus: Burned at the stake in 1553 for questioning it
Thomas Aikenhead: Hanged in 1697 for blasphemy
Joseph Priestley: His church was burned down in 1791 for being Unitarian

👀 Are the Nicene Creeds just Christianity’s version of the Mormon Gold Plates if they were enforced by FIat?

Let’s discuss in the comments.

Did Evangelical Theology Lead to Gay Marriage? Mike Winger’s Unintended Argument
Did Evangelical theology—specifically  ⁨@MikeWinger⁩ 's armchair theology—make gay marriage inevitable? That’s exactly what we’re breaking down today. Mike Winger argues that marriage is just a "public covenant" that doesn’t require priesthood authority—but if that’s true, what’s stopping the state from redefining it? Spoiler: Nothing.

In this video, we expose the logical contradictions in Winger’s take on marriage, using his own words against him.
We’ll cover:
✅ The "public covenant" myth—why it’s not biblical
✅ If authority wasn't required to marry, then why did Jesus cite Moses’ authority to introduce divorce?
✅ How Protestantism erased priesthood authority, setting the stage for modern marriage debates
✅ The Matthew 19 misinterpretation—and why the Sadducees were "thinking Biblically" (aka, winging it)
✅ Mike Winger’s own words on the afterlife and marriage—and the hilarious ironic contradictions of his argument If Evangelicals removed divine authority from marriage, they don’t get to be mad when society takes them up on the offer to redefine it. Let’s talk about it.

👇 Watch now and let me know in the comments:
Do modern Christians have any theological ground to stand on when opposing gay marriage? Or did they redefine marriage long before the Supreme Court did?

PART II – Unmasking the Scholarly Bias: Why Did Rogan & Huff Mention Mormons 10 Times?
@joerogan  and  @WesHuff  had a lot to say about Mormons in their recent conversation—but how much of it was actually true? Spoiler: To borrow a phrase from Huff, "It was rough." In this video, I break down their claims, expose the inaccuracies, and fact-check the so-called "scholarship" behind Huff’s takes. 20 Questions, 2 Faiths: Protestant vs. Mormon Debate — Who Has the Answers?
📢 The Debate is Here! 📢

I sit down with  @thoughtfultheology449  a Protestant Christian Youth Minister, to tackle the biggest theological differences between LDS (ie PEAK Christianity) and Evangelical Christianity.

We each present 10 challenging questions, diving deep into prophets, doctrine, scripture, historical context and more.

This is a serious, respectful discussion, and whether you’re LDS, Evangelical, or just curious, you’ll walk away with new insights into both perspectives.

I may post all of the questions in the comments but I will mention that most of my responses feature a selective cynicism/skepticism counter where sectarianism at large holds the LDS faith to a standard of scrutiny they do not hold themselves to.

Christian Youth Pastor & Latter Day Saint Discuss Which is More Plausible?
Taylor is a fine gentleman & one of the follow Jesus' example Christians I have met in a chat room (as opposed to one of the "you are going to Hell" Christians) and we decided to "take it to the runway" We sat down to discuss the plausibility of modern sectarian Christianity vs Latter Day Saint Christianity. I think the plausibility argument is severely underrated. We discussed: -The recipe for identifying a prophet of God and if Joseph Smith was a conman. -If Christianity went woke long before the culture did? -If the simplicity of mere Christianity favors its truthfulness -Plausibility measured with stats and receipts = peak Christianity & -We didn't really get to whether or not the mysteries of God have all been revealed so we may have to do a round II. Look forward to your comments and insights. Thank you  @thoughtfultheology449

Apparently God Is Gender Fluid?? | Wesley Huff
Saying God is genderless with a straight face? (No pun)

-Is it mathematically possible for both debaters to lose a debate?

For all of the people saying that Billy Carson got destroyed, this clip from Wesley Huff demonstrates where sectarianism went into Biff's alternate 1980s timeline. Not only that...Wesley determines exactly how this apostasy occurred.

This video points out two main ideas:
1) The Creedalist Gospel went woke WAY before the culture did
-God identifies using male gender pronouns, but His gender doesn't match His sex
-"We" have never argued that God is male. Who is we??

2) It's true because someone decided it was true
-Historical Christianity
-Historical Biblical Christianity
-Biblical Historical Orthodox Christianity
-Biblical Christianity Carries no authority except what they give themselves through repetition, consensus, and tradition.

These are not arbiters of truth and its foolish to cite them as such.
These terms are pressure-loaded with assumptions about their own validity, but they demonstrate how error becomes codified over time.

"We" have a collective amnesia.

Who has been talking about these civilizations?
Who has been making the claim that they shared common attributes including:
-A belief in a monotheistic God that would return at some future date
-Temple Building
-Numerous highly populated civilizations
-The supposed global Flood "myth"

Tucker Carlson Admits Bias While Trent Horn Doubles Down: Ancient America Debate
My wife said the first time she saw this clip, referring to Horn, " Does he not hear himself talking? "

So she joined me on the mic to review this weird one-off comment by Trent in a recent video.

Horn's recent debate with Jacob Hansen had a pretty low Catholic Rotten Tomato score and I don't think he's fully rebounded.

It's clear that the "evidence" argument is a real obstacle for him so I wanted to contrast someone who is a little less biased in tackling the same topic. Tucker Carlson.

Belief and understanding of truth is a spectrum, not binary. As we rise on this spectrum the believer inevitably hits the point at which the defense of their own theology/ideology is indistinguishable from the atheist. Trent unwittingly demonstrated that in his video.

I did a video previously about why I don't think we see LDS members on Catholic channels - it may add some context to this video. https://youtu.be/AQ5ff5n6e9k

What About Ultra Processed Christianity? Religious Junk Food & The Spiritual Obesity Epidemic.
Hey Kids... Remember that the church goes woke before the culture does.

The Ultra Processed Food Industry is All the Rage, but what about the Ultra Processed Theology Industry that's been pumping us full of empty calories and causing a spiritual obesity epidemic for centuries?? It may be time we review our Doctrinal Diet.

@GeorgeJanko  had some excellent points and questions in their original video, its unfortunate that he deferred to  @RealCharlieKirk  ...who still has some work to do here on the doctrinal side.

Summary
The video discusses the need for a new doctrinal food pyramid in Christianity, comparing modern beliefs to ultra-processed theology and its effects on spiritual health.
Highlights
🍕 The idea of a doctrinal pyramid is introduced, comparing beliefs to a nutritional food pyramid.
🍔 Critique of the traditional food pyramid as influenced by marketing rather than health.
🥦 Exploration of how churches may promote “ultra-processed theology” for profit and control.
🍎 Discussion on the spectrum of belief from atheism to deep faith and understanding.
🌮 Emphasis on the importance of genuine evangelism over prosperity gospel approaches.
🍩 Highlighting the risks of conflating salvation with eternal life and the consequences of this misunderstanding.
🍰 Encouragement for believers to pursue deeper understanding and commitment to their faith.
Key Insights
🔼 Belief Spectrum: The concept of belief as a spectrum suggests varying degrees of faith, emphasizing the need for deeper understanding and commitment in Christianity. This can help individuals assess their spiritual journey and growth.
🏋️‍♂️ Spiritual Health: Just as processed foods can lead to physical unhealthiness, “ultra-processed theology” can create spiritual obesity, hindering true growth and understanding in one’s faith. Awareness of this is crucial for spiritual well-being.
🚦 Evangelism Approach: Effective evangelism should focus on the realities of sin and redemption, promoting an authentic understanding of faith rather than a superficial promise of a better life. This can lead to more meaningful conversions.
💡 Distinction Between Salvation and Eternal Life: Understanding the difference between being saved and attaining eternal life is essential. It challenges believers to live righteously, as their actions reflect their faith and commitment.
📈 Consequences of Actions: The narrative emphasizes that genuine adherence to biblical teachings leads to a fulfilling life, contrasting the notion that faith is merely a ticket to heaven without accountability.
🛤️ Journey Towards Perfection: Striving for spiritual growth and perfection through trials and understanding God’s commandments can lead to deeper fulfillment and purpose in life.
🎯 Continuous Growth: The metaphor of climbing a pyramid illustrates that there is always room for growth in one’s faith journey, encouraging believers to reach for higher spiritual understanding and commitment.

TIMESTAMPS 0:33: 🔺 Exploring a new concept of belief hierarchy using a pyramid structure inspired by nutritional food pyramid.5:01: 🔍 Levels of belief in Christianity compared to atheism and agnosticism explained using a pyramid analogy.9:20: 💬 Reevaluating the focus of Christian teachings on love over judgment and emphasizing salvation from ourselves through Jesus.Show more...

Dr. Taylor Marshall Is Confused about Satan's Lie in the Garden of Eden
Hey Kids... Misunderstanding what happened in the Garden = Never quite understanding why we were created, why we were sent to Earth, what gift was so great it necessitated the sacrifice of a perfect God, and God's ultimate goal for His children.

Satan's deception has fostered a far more devastating sectarian lie that that spread around the world before the truth put its shoes on.

I am not picking on Dr. Marshall as this is just a recent example I came across on YouTube and a view shared by modern creedal christianity.

I would like to help prepare you for those you meet who inherited this same misconception about what happened in the Garden of Eden.

Remember - It's far easier to politically red pill someone than to spiritually red pill them

Highlights
📜 The LIE of the devil: He emphasizes that it’s more complex than simply saying we will become gods.
🔍 Subtlety of lies: He explores how the devil’s lies are often hidden and not obvious.
📖 Scripture review: Analyzes Genesis to uncover the true nature of Satan’s deception.
⚖️ Fact-checking: Challenges the notion that Satan’s claim about becoming gods was entirely false.
🔥 Modern Christianity: Suggests that a more significant lie exists in contemporary beliefs about our divine potential.
💡 Call for understanding: Encourages viewers to engage with these ideas and think critically about their faith.

Key Insights
📊 Misinterpretation of doctrines can lead to confusion about fundamental beliefs.
🕵️‍♂️ The subtlety of the devil’s lies highlights the importance of discernment in faith. Many lies are not overt but disguised in appealing narratives that can lead believers astray.
📖 Analyzing Scripture reveals deeper truths that challenge widely held beliefs. The text invites a closer examination of the original commandments given to Adam and Eve.
🔄 Modern Christianity may misrepresent the potential of believers. This insight critiques the notion that followers cannot achieve divine closeness, challenging the limitations placed on spiritual growth.
💔 The idea of divine potential is crucial. Emphasizing that believers are meant to strive for a relationship with God that reflects their true potential is a pivotal aspect of faith.
💬 Engaging in discussions about faith can lead to greater understanding.

Frank Turek and the Slow Drip of Christian Apostasy
"Adding and Taking Away" has been a problem since the Apostles' time.

Frank Turek demonstrates how it looks in real-time.

It's easier to politically red pill than spiritually red pill.

 SUMMARY
🏛️ Church Involvement: The church must engage in apologetics as pastors are overworked.
📜 Ephesians 4: This chapter emphasizes equipping all believers for ministry, not just pastors.
⚖️ Misinterpretation: Misunderstanding scripture leads to flawed church structures and teachings.
🧩 Unity of Faith: True unity in the church comes from shared understanding and calling.
🔍 Context Matters: The original audience of biblical texts differs from modern interpretations.
📖 Royal Priesthood: Not everyone is called to be a priest; context defines who this applies to.
📉 Apostasy: Apostasy often occurs gradually through minor misinterpretations over time.

 KEY INSIGHTS
💬 Lay Participation is Crucial: The church should empower laypeople to engage in ministry, as the burden cannot rest solely on pastors. This communal responsibility fosters growth and accountability. Apostasy is the reason that sectarian churches are set up with paid pastors and unempowered lay people
📚 Scriptural Context is Key: Understanding the original context of biblical writings is essential to grasp their intended meaning. Misapplying these texts can lead to significant theological errors...which is the MO for mainstream Christianity today
🔄 Apostasy is Gradual: Apostasy often creeps in slowly through small, seemingly harmless changes in doctrine, which can accumulate to alter the faith’s foundation.
🤝 Unity is Essential: A unified church body, grounded in shared beliefs and practices, is vital for spiritual growth and resilience against false teachings.
❗ Beware of Misunderstanding: Misinterpretations can lead to a “telephone effect,” where the original message is distorted over time, leading to a different gospel. 🕊️ True Calling and Election: The notion of being a royal priesthood applies specifically to a chosen group, highlighting the importance of understanding one’s calling within the church. Everyone is invited to join this group, but few are willing.
⚡ Caution Against Specious Truths: Repeated misconceptions can sound valid but are fundamentally flawed, reinforcing the need for sound doctrinal teaching and discernment among believers.
