We believe that when we acknowledge that there are areas in our life that are not perfect, they need work, they need improvement, growth with God’s help – it gives God, it gives the Holy Spirit room to work in our lives.
If we recognize that we need improvement then Biblical wisdom would call us to plan accordingly.
Please join us as Pastor Donnie on inviting God in to setting goals for the New Year.
Dr. Don Immel delivers a message and challenges believers to move beyond simply growing older in faith to intentionally growing up spiritually, as God’s design in Ephesians 4 is maturity, unity, and Christlikeness. Paul teaches that God provides spiritual leadership to equip, strengthen, and unify the church so believers are no longer immature, easily deceived, or spiritually weak. True growth is measured by an increasing knowledge of Jesus and a life that reflects His character through love, truth, righteousness, and the fruit of the Spirit. As a new year begins, the call is to deliberately pursue spiritual growth—personally and corporately—so the church grows strong in faith rather than stagnating or falling backward.
Christmas season it’s kind of chaotic, there’s the work parties, or kids Christmas plays that we have to get to, there’s the family calendar planning of what sides of the family we will see on what days and don’t forget to do the yearly Christmas traditions whether it’s going and seeing Christmas lights- certain Christmas movies that we all watch together or certain kinds of foods and Christmas cookie exchanges, and in the midst of all of that there’s the Christmas list of gifts to get one another and the amazon delivery guy by second week of December is on a first name basis with you.
Restaurants are busy, shopping centers, heavy traffic, full airports.
Chaos surrounding the Christmas season is nothing new!
During this season for many there is the reality of holiday stress wrapped up in family drama, family dysfunction, wondering how this side of the family is going to behave when they are around this other side of the family, for some there are unmet expectations that bring about disappointment. The holidays can be a little chaotic as we navigate all of these emotions.
All too often when we have heightened emotions and feelings caused by stress or chaos we just try to pretend like they aren’t there or we aren’t actually feeling what we are feeling, if I just ignore the feelings it will go away.
Please join us as Pastor Donnie teaches on how we don’t eliminate chaos by ignoring emotions; we experience Christ’s peace by filtering emotions through God’s Word.
The Holiday season can be an emotionally heightened time of the year, yes, many good emotions. But during this season for many there is the reality of holiday stress wrapped up in family drama, family dysfunction. Wondering how this side of the family is going to behave when they are around this other side of the family, for some there are unmet expectations that bring about disappointment. The holidays can be a little chaotic as we navigate all of these emotions.
Please join us as Pastor Donnie continues our series “Christ In The Chaos” as he teaches on conflict resolution.
We are in the midst of the Holiday season, it’s a great season filled with joy, laughter, family time.
As we discussed two weeks ago, for many – Holidays are something else… For many, Holidays seem to highlight the dysfunction in the family.
If you grew up in a dysfunctional family, dysfunction has been normalized to such a degree that you’re at risk of continuing the cycle of dysfunction simply because it’s normal.
Please join us as Pastor Donnie teaches on dysfunction and how to establish a. God defined normal.

When dealing with chaotic, emotionally or physically abusive family members, or unrepentant sin that is on display for everyone, Christians will often struggle with questions such as: “am I wrong to cut off my own family members? Is setting boundaries unbiblical or unloving? Aren’t I supposed to love everyone especially my family? Don’t I have to love others unconditionally?”
Please join us as Pastor Donnie talks about the answers to some of those questions by bringing clarity to the topic of boundaries.
Christopher Alam was born into a Muslim family. He received Christ in 1975 and started preaching the Gospel soon after. After enduring much persecution for the Gospel, which included a year in prison and time in a mental institution, Christopher Alam was threatened with execution and escaped to Sweden where he was granted political asylum. It was there that Christopher and Britta met and were married.

David was a man used by God in mighty ways.
God would take David from being a shepherd, and make him a soldier; and from being the leader of a flock of sheep, to be a general of armies.
He’s the balance of the warrior and poet. God uses him in mighty ways and his military career is impressive…

There may be many things that come to mind when the word “theology” is used. For many it’s a class at a university, for some it’s the mental picture of an intelligent person who has extremely wise things at any moment or who is extremely introspective in regards to life. We can sometimes overthink theology believing that it’s just for a few or on the opposite side of that perspective are those who undermine theology all together, not seeing the necessity of it.
In today’s world, Christians are facing many questions, questions that relate to why we believe what we believe. Please join us as Pastor Donnie closes out our series on “A Proverbs Life”.
We’re continuing our series out of the book of Proverbs. I want to dive into The theology of Proverbs.

A Major theme of Proverbs is healthy marriage.
Marriage is a fundamental part of God’s creation, God creates man and God creates woman and joins them together as one.

Words form and shape lives. Words can motivate the coward and turn them into a brave hero.
In our world there are many words from speeches that stand out to us because the words not only represented monumental moments of our History but shaped the future…
