Paul reviews the short story from Shirley Jackson, The Missing Girl.
Shirley Jackson's "The Missing Girl" tells the story of a thirteen-year-old girl named Martha who goes missing during a summer camp. As the search continues, doubt arises about her existence. The narrative draws on real-life events, particularly inspired by the unresolved case of Martha Jeanette Jones, who mysteriously disappeared in 1950.

Bigfoot stalks the Hudson Valley. The little town of Kinderhook, New York is steeped in history and scary stories. Near the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, it’s where Martin Van Buren is buried and what inspired Washington Irving’s Sleepy Hollow. Kinderhook residents should be familiar with spooky tales of headless horsemen, ghosts, and fairies. But in the 1980s, the town became home for a new type of fright – the Kinderhook Creature, a bigfoot-type hominid that terrorized families and was reported all over the county and beyond. Cover art by Easton Hawk.
Bruce G. Hallenbeck’s The Kinderhook Creature and Beyond: A Personal Reminiscence is the story of those times, delving into the history of its author and his numerous paranormal and cryptozoological encounters, as well as those of his family and other residents of the Kinderhook area. The encounters within these pages include the “Kinderhook Blob,” UFO sightings, ghosts, “little people” and much, much more.

Paul is joined with friend, Chris Burnie to re-tell the night where the Ouija Board was connected with a child, and didn't want the connection to end. However, Chris had delved further and uncovered more information afterwards.
Collected over the course of two decades in the 1990s and 2000s, these true tales of 20 of America and Canada's most famous spooklights will inform and fascinate you.
Spooklights, also known as ghost lights, will o' the wisps, or fairy lights, are anomalous lights of unknown origin that hover over the ground in natural areas such as forests, bogs, and mountains. They differ from other paranormal or supernatural phenomena in that their existence is undeniable; they can be filmed and photographed, and thousands of people have seen them. The lights are tied to specific geographic locations and can often be "called" by various means, often with the use of car headlights.

Jeremy at the age of 9 years, was out in the Windham County area of Vermont. Where he encountered a Hairy Creature carrying a deer over his shoulder.
This episode takes a look inside the encounter, while asking the idea of not being alone in the woods as he grew up.
When Jeremy also isn't sharing his encounter, he's busy publishing his podcast, Infinite Rabbit Hole.
Infinite Rabbit Hole! The podcast that always takes it one step further and has a habit of making you think twice about reality. One path may travel to the deepest forests of the Pacific Northwest to track down everyone's favorite upright walking monster, and the next path might lead us to the bottom of the ocean to discover the source of the Bloop, or maybe we get abducted and brought to Zeta Reticuli (that's if you believe that space is real of course). Jeremy and Jeff provide their unique points of view through the world that parallels our own as they act as your guides through the Infinite Rabbit Hole!

October 13th 2020, marked the second release from us. This time we took to the woods and made it into the Glastonbury Mountains where Missing People lurked from 1945-1950. Around 6 or 7 people, including hikers, hunters, and visitors from other states, vanished. Strange theories emerged over the decades. Some of the most known cases are Paula Welden, who disappeared Sunday, December 1st, 1946. Who was going to Bennington College at the time, went out with a RED Jacket to Hike. Never returned. Paul Jepson, who was only eight years old, vanished from his mother's truck while attending to their family pigs. A lot of speculations eyed the mother of bringing the child's demise and getting rid of evidence, by the pigs.
Join Tessa and Paul as they discuss the short film, five years later. What worked, the outcome, what could have been changed.

Ron Murphy has been investigating the stuff of nightmares for over 30 years. He has investigated the things that go bump in the night and meticulously researched the historical and psychological context of myths and legends from around the world. Mr. Murphy seeks to uncover the archetypal precedent for the monsters that haunt our collective thoughts. A phantom or spook light is a mysterious, unexplainable light or glowing orb, often seen in remote areas, that appears to move, change colors, and react to observers. These lights are sometimes referred to as ghost lights, corpse candles, or will-o'-the-wisps. They are often associated with folklore and legends, with some cultures attributing them to spirits, supernatural beings, or even mischievous entities.

September 3rd 2010, Frank Siecienski noticed that something had been eating a whole bunch of apples from his tree. He then set up a trail cam to take photos every minute. He left it for seven days and seven nights.
He retrieved the camera. He was shocked to discover what was the reason for his apples disappearing. It's important to note that whatever was captured was only there for about a minute. If it was there past the two minute mark, we would have another photo.
Frank Siecienski is a self-described Bigfoot researcher from Hubbardton, Vermont. He claims to have captured an image of Bigfoot on a trail camera on his property in September 2010. Siecienski is a strong believer in the existence of Bigfoot, and states that Bigfoot sightings in Vermont date back to the late 70s and early 80s. He believes Vermont is a suitable habitat for Bigfoot due to its remote and undisturbed private land, with areas like Rutland and Hubbardton experiencing consistent sightings. Siecienski also says his photo captured a female Bigfoot (Sasquatch), approximately 400 pounds and accompanied by a baby. He believes it was either protecting or picking up its young. While others have suggested his photo may be of an owl, Siecienski remains unconvinced and even has a vanity plate "BIG FT" on his car, which he says sparks conversations and leads to other reported sightings. Siecienski has also stated that speaking about Bigfoot can lead to ridicule, but he is open to discussions and has made friends with people who were initially skeptical but are now believers.
A unique milestone achieved. Today (August 26th 2025) marks the Thirteenth Year since I started this little journey, and I'm saying that loosely. As it's been awesome, lacking, and more importantly, still learning through the chats and research. While still going out there and exploring and investigating on terms.
I'm also in the works of a couple projects, and if you're interested. Let me know! Celebrate by supporting over at TeePublic and grabbing some swag today to represent.

Kat experienced a strange light in the woods of Glastenbury Mountains, fifteen years ago. Was this light something UAP? Bigfoot? Fairies? or what we call, Phantom Lights // Spook Lights. She described it as if something was shining a flashlight at them.
