John Tortorella joins Jason Myrtetus from Montreal, where he's preparing for the Four Nations Tournament as an assistant coach with Team USA. This week we feature Tiberius, a special senior pit bull mix looking for his forever home at the PSPCA. Tiberius is blind and was found wandering the streets of Germantown, where he was picked up and put into the PSPCA's care. Tiberius needed some emergency medical treatment to address bladder stones and an infection, but that's behind him now and he is recovering. Tiberius is a sweet, blind pup with a big personality, a sweet, gentle soul and a lot of heart. The PSPCA veterinary staff calls him “the perfect angel baby,” and every day, they see his kind heart shining through. Despite his lack of sight, he quickly picks up on new routines and enjoys interacting with people. He thrives on verbal cues and is learning how to navigate the world in his own way. But no dog should spend their senior years in a shelter, and Tiberius deserves more than this. He was rushed to PSPCA and then to emergency surgery, but is now recovering well. Ang is a loving and resilient pup searching for his forever home! He’s through the worst of his battle and he's ready to find a special family that will shower him with love and care. With a few battle scars that only add to his unique charm, Ang is full of puppy energy and adores being around people. Another season of Hockey & Hounds returns with John Tortorella and Jason Myrtetus. In the season premiere episode, the duo recaps Training Camp and discuss the excitement for the 2024-25 campaign. This episode, we're finding Missy a new home. Missy is a very social, if lazy, pup. She is very often loose and waggy with soft eyes, but can also be aloof and independent. Missy arrived with matted, dirty fur, so she got a fresh cut. Her hair will grow back, and we cannot wait to see her glow up. She may have had a hard start in life, but she is ready to shine! Jason Myrtetus concludes the 2023-24 Hockey & Hounds season with Flyers head coach John Tortorella as they discuss the upcoming do-or-die end of the regular season. We also meet Kculli, a survivor of a dogfighting ring who was rescued by the PSPCA in November of 2021 along with 32 other dogs. The majority of these pups have found homes, but Kculli and three other are still waiting. There is nothing wrong with this sweet girl, despite her horrific past. She is a bit shy at first, but she opens up quickly and just LOVES people. She can live with kids, but not other animals.
