"There is but one living and true God, everlasting, without body, parts, or passions; of infinite power, wisdom, and goodness; the maker and preserver of all things both visible and invisible. And in unity of this Godhead there be three persons, of one substance, power, and eternity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost."

This episode is the sixth lecture for Fr. Andrew's course, Introduction to the Old Testament. Fr. Andrew gives an overview discussion of the religious worldview of the ancient Assyrian Empire and discusses its significance for understanding portions of the Old Testament.

This is the inaugural lecture for the Illuminate Lecture Series, a public-lecture event hosted and produced by Church of the Holy Trinity: An Anglican Mission in Mandeville, LA.
