Fear Street: Prom Queen RANT
I’m back, horror fiends! Sorry for the break—I’ve been super sick (like, ghost-in-the-attic level sick), but I couldn’t stay away from horror forever. In this episode, I dive deep into the disaster that is Fear Street: Prom Queen (2025). I watched it at 3am while dying (not literally), and let me tell you... this movie might’ve made me sicker. From cliché characters and cringey dialogue to a killer that looks like they shopped on Amazon at midnight, this slasher missed every mark. If you love rage-filled rants, sickbed sarcasm, and hearing how a horror movie managed to Rickroll me in 2025, you’ll want to stick around.

My horror Movie awards show!
Hello welcome to the best awards show, the Livingston Horror Movie Awards, every year once ive seen every horror movie of the previous year i give horror movies awards for what they did the best, and dont view this as some dumb awards show made by some idiot with a podcast, view it as if it were the oscars or grammys.   No one was able to show up today for the award show but don't worry they are all watching this award show…hopefully. I think 2024 was an amazing year for horror, one so good its hard to choose which one wins each category. We had ones from every subgenre, apocalypse, body horror, slasher, serial killer, gothic, romance, psychological, philosophical, supernatural, aliens, religious, and vampire, it was truly a year for every type of horror genre, and every type of horror fan. This year honestly is close to 2022 in how good it was for horror. Here are the categories for the 2024 Livingston Horror Movie Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Lead Performance from a Female, Best Supporting Performance for a male, Best Supporting Performance for a female, Best Ensemble Cast, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best music or sound design, Best Practical Effects, Best CGI, Best Kill, Best Opening Scene, Best Ending, Most Disturbing Scene, Best Villain, Best Herol, Best Contribution To The Genre. With such a stacked lineup, let’s see which films take home the gold—well, metaphorically, because I don’t have actual trophies… yet.

Join us as we explore every detail of what makes The Substance a standout in horror cinema—its meticulously crafted directing, breathtaking performances, and bold thematic depth. We break down the film's powerful commentary on beauty standards, societal pressures, and the destructive nature of the male gaze, all masterfully woven into its cinematography and story. On the flip side, we analyze Smile 2's more conventional approach to horror, unpacking its reliance on clichés, predictable scares, and its failure to explore its themes with the same depth. With passionate arguments for why The Substance transcends Smile 2 in almost every way—be it direction, acting, writing, or even its unforgettable monster design—this episode is a must-listen for any horror fan who loves a deep dive into what makes a film truly stand out.
