The Sundance Kid: Robert Redford (1936-2025) tribute.
On September 16th 2025 the great Robert Redford passed away at the age of 89. Although we record this right after his death like so many things its release got lost in the shuffle. For a man with a career that started on Broadway in the late 50s and continued until his last credited role in 2020 we decided to talk about some of his hits and our personal favorites. We talk about Three Days of the Condor (1975), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), The Sting (1973), The Natural (1984), The Legend of Bagger Vance (2000) as director, All the President's Men (1976), Spy Game (2001), A River Runs Through It (1992) as director, Ordinary People (1980) as director, Quiz Show (1994) as director. RIP to one of the greatest actors of our time.   Talk to us Goose www.howdyoulikethatmovie.com

Walking and Talking: The Long Walk (2025)
The latest of Stephen King's books to be brought to the screen is his 1979 dystopian novel The Long Walk. Directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by JT Mollner and staring Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson and Quebec Indigenous actor Joshua Odjick. So would Scott and I walk 10 000 miles to watch this film? or are we tired of even speaking about it? Also why does Winnipeg, Manitoba work so well for a dystopian film?
