The summer of sequels continues with the third instalment of the 28 series which began in 2002 with 28 Days Later and followed up with 28 Weeks Later in 2007. Years brings back the original team behind 28 Days with director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire), writer Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Civil War) and cinematographer Anthony Mantle (Antichrist, Rush).
