Our today's Humans of Bihar podcast show Guest is Mr. Abhinabh ji who is a serial Entrepreneur and Founder of Patnacart. While growing up, Abhinav ji saw farmers in his locality are struggling to sell their produce in the market. Apart from this, there were other challenges troubling farmers like arranging logistics, finding buyers, and getting the right prices. This had a huge impact on Abhinabh .
Bihar based PatnaKart Agro Farms Private Limited optimizes agriculture supply chain using research, analytics, and technology, and is currently working with hundreds of farmers in Bihar to get the right price, supply, and distribution network. With an aim to bridge this gap and get farmers a fair price for their produce by eliminating middlemen, Abhinabh started PatnaKart during Covid 19 Pandemic in May 2020.
The startup has developed a tech-driven solution to build a sustainable supply chain for fruits, vegetables and other agro based produce. PatnaKart has established technology-driven procurement centre at Karai villages near Bihta from where it collects the produce. PatnKart later does a customised sorting, grading, and packaging to maintain the quality.
The startup then uses its tech-enabled logistics and delivers the produce to customers for free of cost. His startup is clocking about Rs 3 lac monthly revenue and has onboarded more than 5000+ people from across Patna.
The company is currently working towards scaling its procurement centre in more villages and is also building a price prediction model at the supply side for the farmers, for which the company will expand its technology team.

He consider himself an active social worker with a keen interest in politics.
In 2017, He spent his first summer break during college learning about menstruation and reusable sanitary napkins at Goonj NGO at Delhi. A month later, He came back to my hometown with those cloth pads and distributed them within his district East Champaran.
He is also the convener of Bihar Chhatra Sansad, a platform where young students assumed the role of policy makers and engaged into one-to-one dialogue with the ministers and authorities via bills or suggestions on various pressing issues like education, women’s health and safety, tourism.
He interned with MP Poonam Mahajan and assisted her on various matters in 2018. Currently, He run a consultancy firm that provides political assistance to electoral candidates at various levels of elections.
It is a one-of-its-kind organisation where young men and women in their early 20s from different fields are actively interested in shaping politics. During the Bihar assembly elections, He was part of the team that conducted exit polls in the Mithla region of Bihar.
He also handled campaigns of the novice candidates like retired government officials to veteran sitting MLAs with stronghold in Bihar politics coming from different range of parties and ideologies.
He firmly believe that along with social work, a better political culture is required in order to bring about deep rooted reform at ground level.
He also believe that the youth has the largest stake in any country and it must be involved to provide a fresh perspective to long standing problems and should labour towards bringing the political reforms.
The role of an elected representative becomes immensely important in reforming the political climate and he aspire to take up that challenge.
