EPISODE no. 24: Aqua Amplifier Avenue: 1 Poem by Jazz Marie Kaur
Jazz Marie Kaur reads her poem: “Typhoon Typewriter Darts” and asks a question open to replies on Spotify. Here is the poem below as well written in March 2022 dedicated to those with conflicted hearts whilst undergoing rare physical pain or just may leverage writing to heal mysterious heartaches: A woman ran into a web of silk spinning around her body in the night / She had a hummingbird heart — always polite / In the jungle cave of harmonics / She was tossed across with pretzel knots — she swallowed a dragonfly kite / She fought against robots / She became a fractured glass sky / She became unrecognizable to every single human eye / The wind whispered her musical name / On this day she shed no blanketed blame / On this day forth no longer would she hide / Trust did Humpty Dumpty fall / She fell / She hit hell / Sadness strummed out from each and every snapping turtle cell / P A I N / Can be bloody I N S A N E / So gummy bear hug those hearts that are kind back / Scuba dive away from P O M P E ii thoughts / Don’t look away / I’m asking you to pillow fight / I’m asking you to L A V A stay / Not turning back my way / Now go paint a storm to gallop past such D E C A Y / I trusted you / Now I am swimming blue / What is truly true? / My heart feels runny when I think of missing glue / Love at first sight / Man, that does bumblebee bite / When the heart tries so hard to head fight / I feel the sunshine peeling back every hour / I feel that draining power / Because I lost a full moon flower / Every hour / Every hour / I care about other magnolia hearts / Yet I face a typhoon — a sea of snowing darts / Writing extinguishes the earthquake starts / Again the nonsensical highway clouds buzz in / The night air is glowing thin / Memorandum howls around / That blossoming voice is an unforgettable fluttering sound / Around / Around / Floricane / Novicane / I too recall acid violent nectar drain / I recall the dancing dandelion doubt / I have more to tell / But never shall anyone ask nor ring the Campanula bell / Wind chime o’ wind chime / F R O S B I T T E N / SMITTEN / I turned into a oceanic kitten / This shall be my past time / This shall be my last love rhyme / Nothing appears as is / Nothing appears Poem © Jazz Marie Kaur Background photograph: “Semaphore Beach, Australia” by Kirrie Rodgers (kirrie.rodgers) http://www.kirrierodgers.com/ visual design arrangements: jasveen_marie_kaur collaboration.
