Inspired by the Powwow dance course she just started, Lynn shares some of her knowledge on Powwows in hopes that everyone attends one. Powwows are held all over this continent, on and off reservations and are open for everyone to attend whether Indigenous or not. In this episode, you'll learn about the layout of the grounds, the proper etiquette when attending, rules around the regalia and when to take pictures.
A Powwow is a great way to learn about the Indigenous Peoples and it's a gathering to celebrate and honour the culture, the land and the people.
