Regretting you was a movie we… kinda regretted seeing. Poor dialogue, shallow characters and bizarre pacing, not to mention maybe the creepiest video essay we’ve ever seen… this movie was a huge miss for us.

Peacemaker season two left a lot to be desired. Storylines that had the characters running in circles, behaving irrationally, and lacking emotional depth. We've fallen a long way from the heights of season one.

One Battle After Another? More like one perfect scene after another. This film blew us away, and has easily taken the title of the best movie of the year.

The Long Walk blew us away. The performances alone are something you don't want to miss, and that combined with political undertones and commentary on assisted dying, grief, honour and friendship made for a perfect movie.

Eva Victor's directorial debut is nothing short of extraordinary. They show tenderness and care in telling a story about the worst horror imaginable, and do it so deftly and with a lightness of touch. What a privilege to see this movie. There is also a tremendous cameo from John Carroll Lynch.

Season 4 of The Bear left us frustrated and disappointed. It feels like we've been treading water for two seasons now, and still no narrative progression. We want characters who actually DO things, not just talk about them.
