This episode is a conversation between my daughter and me. We refer to her as Jedi in the content, but, in case anyone is wondering, that is not her real name. It is a frank and poignant discussion about past trauma that we have been working on healing for many years. There are references to a church we belonged to at one time. Though much of the difficulty was connected to leaving that organization, I do not hold any animosity about it, nor do I want to disparage it in any way. Many people I know are devoted members, and their lives are enriched by their association with it. My philosophy is live and let live. If something works for you, more power to you.
