#9 Mast cell activation syndrome and complex chronic diseases with Tania Dempsey, MD

The co-occurrence of endometriosis and mast cell disorders is not well-studied, and there is limited specific data available on their exact prevalence and statistical association. There is emerging evidence suggesting a potential link between endometriosis and mast cell activation, with some studies indicating an increased prevalence of mast cell activation in individuals with endometriosis. Mast cell disorders, such as mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), have been reported to coexist with endometriosis in some cases, suggesting a possible association.
