The Legend of Zelda Movie's First Look Teases Possible Breath of the Wild Ties - IGN Daily Fix
In today's Daily Fix:Nintendo has revealed the first official looks at Zelda and Link in the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie. In other news, U.S. congressman Ro Khanna is taking aim at Call of Duty for its supposed use of A.I. in Black Ops 7. Khanna's concern seems pointed at the loss of jobs as A.I. takes over some of the low-level tasks humans would normally do. And finally, a fan-made project to keep Concord multiplayer alive has drawn the ire of Sony, who is taking down video content showing off Concord Delta. Although Sony cancelled the game and shuttered its developer after Concord's disasterous launch, a group of fans are reverse-engineering some of the server code to keep the game playable to those who bought it.

Here's Why Grand Theft Auto Needs to Take Place in the USA - IGN Daily Fix
In today's Daily Fix:The co-founder and former lead writer for Rockstar Games had to explain why Grand Theft Auto will probably never be set in another country besides America (not counting that one PS1 expansion that was set in London). And it's probably for the reasons you can already think of: lots of guns, and American society is already pretty ridiculous on its own. In other news, Mike Pondsmith, creator of the Cyberpunk roleplaying game, knows how to get Johnny Silverhand back into Cyberpunk 2, he just needs Keanu Reeves to hit him up if Reeves wants to be in the new game. And finally, the formerly Xbox exclusive S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is not only debuting on PlayStation soon, but it's leaving Game Pass, frustrating Xbox players who not only are paying more for the service, but now there's one less Triple-A game to play.

Xbox Layoffs, Cancellations Reportedly Due to Microsoft's Profit Margin Goal - IGN Daily Fix
In today's Daily Fix:According a report from Bloomberg, Xbox's recent layoffs and game cancellations were due to a lofty profit margin goal set by Microsoft. Currently, the gaming industry standard is around 17%-22% profit margins, but Microsoft has allegedly pushed Xbox into hitting a high 30% profit margin. The goal was apparently set around the time Xbox was completing its acquisition of Activision Blizzard in 2023.
