He left Chicago for Atlanta, giving himself 90 days to lock in on his music career before the police could catch up to him.
God also revealed how his cousin, who worked on videos for 2 Chainz, got an opportunity from the famous vlog site Worldstar.
This connection helped God attract attention from major names in the industry.
At one point, he was preparing to sign with Jermaine Dupri, but Juicy J swooped in and offered him a publishing deal.
He shared an incredible story of crossing paths with hip-hop legend Rick Rubin and how he collaborated with Kanye West on one of the biggest tracks from "The Life of Pablo" album.
Although Kanye was interested in signing him, the deal never materialized.
With a Grammy nomination and over 30 million records sold, God has worked with numerous favorite artists and is now focusing on his own music, which is set to be released soon, while continuing to collaborate with Juicy J on other artists’ records.
