We're in that peculiar space where everyone expects us to be back in full force, and you feel a restless energy wanting to break free. If you're experiencing agitation like you're about to burst—it’s because a new version of you wants to be set free. Before you do, however, you will want to honor the tension within you, as it holds the insight you need to make this next year filled with a power that doesn’t burn you out. This episode guides you on how to refine your energy into conscious, strategic momentum. The kind of energy that lights you up rather than expects more and more from you in a way that isn’t sustainable. We are learning a new way to work with our power that aligns your body, mind, spirit, passion, and subconscious to co-create with the Universe rather than push against it.
In this episode, you'll discover:
In the last episode (319), I shared how to dream the impossible dream and this episode is the next step, which is learning how to show up differently than who you once were. You create space for spontaneity, joy, and the ecstatic nature of life itself. When your arrow is aligned with universal timing and your deepest knowing, you'll release it with confidence—witnessing the magic of conscious co-creation unfold in your favor.
Here's to your 2026—the end of spinning wheels and the beginning of selective momentum that actually moves your dreams from vision to form.

It is, however, guiding you to live differently than you did in the past.
What You'll Discover:
The world needs your impossible dream, the one that your soul blueprint has been whispering about all along. As you bury the beliefs of your past self and prepare for a new year, remember: your heart knows the way. Now is your time to believe and reach for what previously felt unreachable. What if the most essential part of the Christmas story—the part that holds the key to your own transformation—has been hiding in plain sight all along? This episode explores why silence isn't just peaceful, it's holy, and how the winter solstice reminds us that after the peak of darkness, light returns.
But there's also a deeper truth woven through both priestess traditions and Christianity that's been quietly overlooked: the feminine principle that made the birth of light consciousness possible. Without understanding this, we miss the entire blueprint for how transformation actually happens—not through chasing more light, but through becoming a clear vessel that can hold this expansiveness of love.
What You'll Discover:
From a priestess and psychotherapist perspective, Mary wasn't chosen because she was a virgin in the way we've been taught to understand it. She was chosen because of her pure heart—her willingness to be a vessel through which consciousness could enter the world. And yet, the feminine principle she represents—the devotion to go into the darkness, to clear what stands in the way, to purify the vessel with love—has been largely unrecognized.
This matters for your transformation because it reveals the truth: light consciousness can only be born through the feminine path of descent. You must go into the darkness, into the silence, into the crevices where fear remains, and transmute it to greater love. This is what prepares you to hold more light. Without the feminine's willingness to descend, to sit in stillness, to meet the darkness with the eye of the heart, the light you're chasing will have nowhere to land. The Christmas story, of course, is about the light consciousness Christ brings to the world. However the story is incomplete without including the feminine who made it all possible.
And how the whole point is that the same process is your invitation as well.
If you would like support seeing with the spiritual eye of the heart, Live with Eyes Wide Open provides the portals to support your descent into deeper truth, love and power. Join here: https://michellebersell.com/eyes-wide-open/
What happens in that liminal space between releasing who you once were and stepping into who you're becoming? This episode explores the often-overlooked period of transformation—the fertile darkness where new versions of ourselves gestate before emerging into the light.
Do you feel the anticipation of what’s emerging from within you? This is your invitation to honor the anticipation itself—the quiet knowingness building within your heart, whispering to you what is to come next. Your willingness to nurture this inner space—before your next expression emerges—prepares you to hold the fullness of what your evolved potential will bring.
Other key insights you’ll discover:
Just as ancient wisdom promised light after the darkest season, your own inner light is preparing to guide a mystical, magical journey uniquely yours. The darkness wasn't an ending; it was the womb space where your next chapter began forming, and now it's time to feel into what wants to be born through you.

We've all been there—standing in the midst of loss, change, or psychological upheaval, asking "what's the point?" This time of year engaged from a divine feminine approach calls us into a profound death cycle—not of body, but of identity. This cycle isn't meant to destroy you; it's designed to help you embody your deepest truths so completely that you know them in every ounce of your being. Whether you're navigating the psychological loss of an old identity or simply feeling the weight of this season's natural death cycle, you're being called to embed a deeper truth about who you really are into the very marrow of your being.
What You'll Discover:
The ancient wisdom traditions knew something we've forgotten: light is born from darkness. Just as the winter solstice and Christmas overlap to celebrate the return of the sun/son, your own periods of psychological death are portals for remembering that you are here to embody love, aliveness, and light. This episode is an invitation to honor what must die so that your truth can be embedded so deeply within you that it becomes unshakeable—something you know in your bones.

Are you someone who feels like no matter what you’ve tried, you somehow keep creating the same patterns over and over again? Trust me, this isn’t your fault. You’ve been shown how to set intentions, create vision boards, and declare what you want to manifest in the new year—but there’s a crucial component that needs to happen BEFORE in order for your heart’s true desires come forward. Drawing from both ancient priestess wisdom and modern psychology, we'll examine the sacred art of release as the foundation that determines whether your next chapter will be genuinely new or just a recycled version of the same old story. This isn't about adding another manifestation technique—it's about understanding that transformation requires clearing your inner energy field first.
What You'll Discover:
Manifestation without inner transformation first, is like having your old lease on life on automatic renewal. Nothing changes. This time of sacred darkness is the time to become conscious about what truly matters to you, so you can determine with reverence what must end before something new can begin. The work of release is the foundation that determines whether you'll step into next year as a new version of yourself or simply carry forward the worn-out patterns you've been hoping would magically disappear.

I had one of those an “Am I the Asshole” moments that I’ve heard about and quickly became curious about how AI (artificial intelligence) would address my guilt. So I poured my heart out to the cloud and found some surprising benefits, as well as limitations. Join me in this episode as I share the very clear difference between where AI can support us and where it will always fall short in being able to access the deeper transformation our souls are actually craving.
Key Takeaways:
This work isn't about transcending our humanity—it's about learning to be in it with love. The model of ascent and being “love and light,” casts shadows that equally need to be received from love. AI has its place in helping us step back from emotional reactivity and gain valuable perspective, but there's a crucial difference between calming your nervous system and actually meeting the part of yourself that's asking to be seen. When we're willing to go beyond the mind's understanding into embodied gnosis, we don't just feel better temporarily—we reclaim the pieces of ourselves we've been taught to be ashamed of, and that's where lasting peace lives. The Divine with us is guiding us to remember our truth in our humanity because doing so expands our hearts in ways our minds cannot comprehend. That’s when we open ourselves more and more to the miracles and magic of life.
I’d love for you to have my step-by-step framework that supports you to access more of your deeper inner knowing. This is exactly what I teach in Emotional Alchemy of the Heart. You can sigh up for my free class here: https://michellebersell.com/emotional-alchemy-of-the-heart/
This is one of the most important podcast episodes I've done, because this is exactly where so many people get confused and struggle. You've been told "you are not your emotions" and to override them with heart energy and love. While that's beautiful and works while you are in a meditative state, the rest of your living life, you are still dealing with your emotions and triggers. This isn’t failure - it’s actually the whole point of why they’re here. In this episode, I'm breaking down the distinction between identifying with your emotions versus utilizing them as the sacred tool they are meant to be.
What You'll Discover:
The truth is when you can be with your pain and recognize the love right there, you become liberated. You're no longer fighting to stay in the light because you embody love and power wherever you are.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to join me for my free Emotional Alchemy of the Heart class where you'll learn the complete framework for transforming your relationship with your emotions. And please share this episode with others so we can bring true emotional health into the world together.

In our hearts, we all desire to be truly seen for the love that we innately are. The problem is we often find ourselves trapped in a painful paradox—believing we're not evolved enough, aligned enough, or simply enough to share who we really are. This episode explores the common road we find ourselves on when we don't feel witnessed from our authentic core, where we cling to false stories about who we need to become to receive love, praise, or validation. These stories become a thick veil obscuring our true purpose, keeping us from recognizing that our specialness isn't something we earn—it's divinely given the moment we draw breath. What if the very thing we're searching for has been right in front of us all along, waiting for you to reclaim your truth.
In this episode, you'll discover:
This episode is an invitation to recognize that your gifts aren't waiting for you to become more worthy—they're calling you forward right now, asking you to hold the love you are regardless of circumstances. Your secret sauce has been with you all along—the question is whether you're willing to look for it in the last place your ego wants you to search. Consider this your reminder that you are vital, important, and needed—held always in unconditional love.
What if the very independence you've cultivated to protect yourself is actually blocking you from receiving more of life's blessings? This week the Divine continues to nudge me to see where I may be unintentionally blocking my ability to receive through the surprising shield of empowerment! I love to think of all of us as empowered. But lurking in the shadow of repeatedly saying "I've got this"—when the reality was I needed help—I was forced to address my shame around neediness. Can we have needs and be empowered? Of course! In fact, what I discovered is that being both capable and receptive is how we allow our hearts to overflow so we have more than enough to give.
Join me as we discuss:
This episode is an invitation to reconsider what it truly means to stand in your worth. While being empowered means we are able to have our own back, it doesn't have to come at the cost of getting the support we need. Through our human experiences, we get to know what it's like to fuel ourselves from within while having the loving, generous grace of others support us. That's when we experience overflow that has a ripple effect on others. That's the love we're meant to receive and give!
You are spiritually-minded, conscientious, and by all means a pretty damn good person. So how on Earth is it that you, of all people, may be more likely to struggle to receive your desires? Well, it is often the well-meaning, but outdated ways we’ve been made to believe what makes us “good.” I invite you to join me as I share my recent experience with jealousy, how I saw my own self-sabotaging behaviors, and ultimately the gift I received from alchemizing jealousy from my heart.
In this conversation, you’ll discover:
This episode offers a powerful invitation to discover what becomes possible when you honor every part of who you are. Your jealousy isn't making you less spiritual—it might be the very thing trying to show you where you're ready to expand. There's nothing to fix, nothing to be ashamed of, only more love to remember.

What if the numbness you're feeling isn't a sign that something's wrong with you, but rather evidence that you are entering a new phase of life? In this deeply vulnerable episode, we explore a part of the human journey that rarely gets discussed—that uncomfortable space where you feel stuck, empty, and disconnected despite having "done all the work." Part of the reason this remains unspoken is that not everyone is called to go to these inner depths in this lifetime. This isn't about your first awakening or your introduction to shadow work. This is about what comes after, when the Divine calls you into a deeper dismantling that has nothing to do with external achievement and everything to do with remembering the truth of who you are. While being "chosen" to experience this phase feels like you've won the booby prize, the joke is on your ego—crossing into this threshold of numbness is the exact path to feeling enlivened with and through an infinite love that is you.
In this episode, you'll discover:
• Why emotional numbness functions as your internal anesthesia during a profound identity shift
• What the soup stage of remembrance requires
• What it means to be "chosen" for this difficult passage and why your sensitivity is actually your strength
• The surprising connection between small escapes (like that evening buzz) and spiritual awakening
• Simple practices that support you when everything feels like it's falling apart
• Why comparing yourself to others during this phase completely misses the point
This episode offers both validation and a roadmap for those brave enough to face the muck of transformation. Whether you arrived here through sudden crisis or slow unraveling, you'll find permission to honor exactly where you are—and an invitation to go even deeper if you're ready. Because sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is acknowledge that you're turning to soup, and trust the process.
If you would like deeper insight and guidance during this phase, check out my private podcast series called Eyes Wide Open: https://michellebersell.com/eyes-wide-open/.
What happens after you finally do the brave thing? Here’s a normal part of the human messiness we don't talk about enough: the anxiety that can show up after you've already taken the courageous step. My last two podcasts on a Priestess and a Pastor brought up what I call "ego backlash"—that last-ditch attempt of the ego to pull you backinto safety.
It's like I've already leaped off the cliff—the episode isrecorded, the decision is made—but now my ego is frantically reaching back, fingers scraping against the rock face, trying to find something to grab onto. The thing is, I'm already in mid-air. The only way forward is down, into theunknown, trusting that whatever is below will catch me.
This is my real-time process I went through that may support you to continue to honor your courage despite fear screaming at you to retreat.
Key Takeaways:
· Understanding why discomfort gets louder before the breakthrough
· What it means to truly cut ourselves free from the ego’s puppet strings
· The difference between false safety and true alignment
· How to anchor courage in your heart when your mind is spinning with worst-case scenarios
· Why we need lives that occasionally cause us anxiety—and what that really means
Here's what I keep coming back to: we are each a unique expression of the divine, and life gets so much betterwhen we allow that truth to work through us. The ego will never tell you what's possible on the other side of fear because it simply doesn't know. But your heart does. And sometimes the greatest act of self-love is honoring both thecourage it takes to step forward and the compassion needed for the discomfort that follows.

If you ever struggle with the faith that you were raised in, felt like you didn’t belong, or spiritually homeless, this episode is for you. In this episode of I’m Perfectly Divine, I am interviewing the pastor of Ozaukee Congregational Church, Jeff Larson. This is the church my family belonged to for almost twenty years, but one I didn’t attend most of the time because I felt I didn’t fit. This episode is Part 1 of our conversation that allowed two people of seeming different beliefs bridge the “Divine Divide,” with humility and genuine respect.
Join us as we explore:
This conversation offers hope for anyone who has felt caught between your heart that knows divine love and religious structures that feel confining or fear-based. Rather than advocating for any particular path, this episode demonstrates how mutual respect and theological humility can create space for authentic spiritual exploration. Then, stay tuned for Part Two, next week, where I will share more of my own journey integrating the Divine Feminine with my Christian roots. With love, I believe we can overcome an either-or approach to spirituality and instead give way to something far more expansive and inclusive.

Welcome to Season 3 of I’m Perfectly Divine Podcast! The best way I can attempt to describe this next season is similar to the song Messy by Lola Young, but more spiritual and willing to take radical responsibility for anything that feels limiting to you.
What I love about the song is the bravery to speak the complexity we feel being human. The courage to let go of trying to prove yourself and instead be with every aspect of yourself.
It isn’t the labels such as being “messy” that limit how we show up in the world. It is when we can’t hold all of who we are with love and responsibility.
How do we hold who we are with both love and responsibility? It’s tricky right?
We want to be ourselves but it can feel like we are falling short. Well, that is what the love of our emotions is guiding us to overcome.
So, really this season is me being non-scripted to navigate all of my human and divine aspects in real time. So far, this has already meant sharing the inner voices that pop up and how I challenge myself to to be with all aspects of myself from love. And…I am going to be challenging you to do the same. (Which is why, I keep reiterating that if you aren’t up for the challenge, that’s okay. That is also an important phase to be in and you honoring that phase is vitally important.)
You and me, we are strong, spiritual, and sensitive for a reason…to be more of the love that our hearts can experience, feel, and hold so that others can do the same. The only way to do that is to go into the parts and places where fear still resides. My hope is that while I share my messiness that there’s something relatable to you that will support you to remember the love you are as well, regardless of how your ego may be trying to convince you otherwise.
