Welcome to my podcast! My name is Robin. I am an appreciative Christian coach. My goal as your spiritual sister is to help you make lasting lifestyle changes from a Godly, rather than worldly, perspective.  Topics for discussion will include topics such as: identity exchange, spiritual growth, health and wellness, breaking bad habits, forming good habits, and more!  For those interested in understanding the big picture of the Bible, check out my podcast postings for reading the Day By Day Kid's Bible, written by Karen Henley, author of The Beginner's Bible. This is a year long daily event that is similar to a devotional book. It goes from January 1 through December 31. Don't be discouraged by the title; this is not just for kids! Written in story format and in chronological order, this version of the Bible covers the big story from Genesis through Revelation. Each daily reading will include discussion for encouragement about how the day's reading can be applied in YOUR life and sharing how God is using the readings in MY life.

December 23 Daily Reading- Read the Bible in 1 Year
If you would like to download my FREE calendar for keeping track of your commitment to read the Bible every day, you can find that on my site, here: https://www.inthefamilywaycoaching.com/pages/read-the-bible-in-1-year Monthly memberships to support this event can be purchased on my site, here: https://www.inthefamilywaycoaching.com/offering_packages Today we will continue reading the Book of Revelation, Chapters 5 and 6:1-5 and 7-17.  In today's reading John told us about the worship of Jesus and the songs being sung to praise him by the angels and the 24 leaders who are in heaven. John saw a scroll that was in God's hand. Only Jesus was found to be worthy to open the seven seals and read the scroll.  In our discussion for daily application we will talk about how the Book of Revelation is all about Jesus and His second coming to earth. Today we read about how the angels and the leaders in heaven make Jesus the most important one. We need to be worshipping, praising, and making Jesus the most important one in OUR lives, too. As we learn about the big picture this year we have learned that our physical bodies and physical lives are not what is most important. Our eternal spiritual life is what is important. We take care of that eternal life by believing in Jesus, loving Him, obeying Him, and making Him the most important one, rather than ourselves, just as we see by John's vision is being done in heaven. Jesus taught us to pray what we call, "The Lord's Prayer." Part of that prayer says, "Our Father who is in Heaven, hallowed by your name. Your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." May God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God's will is that we worship, love, and obey Him and His Son, Jesus. If you enjoyed today's reading and feel like God has lit YOUR light please click the LIGHT button (it looks like a thumbs up or a heart) and consider subscribing to or following my channel, you have not done so already done so already.
