Lucia Goyen has been married to her husband since 2017. Her husband entered the country over 20 years ago and has since opened up a business and has worked across NY. They have an almost 2-year-old US daughter but it is uncertain if her husband can adjust his immigration status as the bar for "extreme hardship" for the waiver is incredibly vague and hard to meet.

In this episode, we discuss what is The Immigration Bar Reform, how Lucia has been affected, and her recent trip to Washington D.C. to advocate for families affected by these laws.
