Karl Egloff is a mountain guide who was virtually unknown outside his home in Ecuador until 2014 when he set the FKT for running up and down Kilimanjaro in Africa. Now, the previous record was held by a legend of the sport Kilian Jornet, and since that time Karl has broken two more records of Kilian, including the recent ascent and decent record on the mountain of Denali.
