for the algo: Have we forgotten what the holidays are really about? We're overwhelmed with gift guides, ads, affiliate links... We're spending money on gifts we can't afford... and we're receiving gifts we don't really want. White elephant, Yankee swap, Dirty Santa... Too many gift exchanges!! It's a lot of waste and clutter. Overconsumption! So, it's ok to opt out of gifts, it's ok to change traditions, focus on experiences and quality time!!
