Night Listeners- Happy Thanksgiving! I tried to make a themed show tonight and I don't know how well I did but the highlight is the new holiday EP from Captain Three Leg called "Thrashgiving". Plus new Tomb Wizard and we revisit some classics including Moveable Feast, Slughive (early band of Joel Anderson of Ten Grand), Ritual of Agony and The Hollowmen.

Night Listeners- I love this November heatwave that we are having here in Des Moines. We got show filled new and "new to me" including Keith Rich of Druid's personal archives. We got KGB, Radio Moscow, Holy Vestige (new Bo Becker project), some dungeon synth project called Plague Relic. I also found a weird ska band called An Afternoon Snatching which sounds like its from 15 years ago.

Night Listeners - Happy Halloween! I am sorry if this has been a light season, the top part of October was extremely busy for me in the film world. But I tried to pack last week and this week with some spooky tunes. Lots of rippers and even a few first time plays with Obeygrey, Cosmic Fraility, Nian, Mike V & the Rats and Gore God.

He a brand new project called Phantom Lightkeeper that just released a debut album called Shore Ghosts. It has to be my favorite release of the year that was not put out by Captain Three Leg. Justin has merged the perfect mix of surreal soundtrack music with surf rock and believe me when I say he shreds and sends chills down your spine at the same time.

Mac Stanfield was a founding member of the early 80's act The Law. Ted Irvine who was an obsessed fan in the early days now manages the newly formed (Not) The Law who will be performing their first show on August 8th at XBK in Des Moines. We talk about the early days of the music scene, So's Your Mother and Charlie "Chuckie Suicide" Chesterman.
